Excellent food. Very delicious and tasty. Service was good and environment very conducive. Hv d best ice cream in town. Thanks for your review Truly Excellent & Exclusive Services
I really enjoyed eating with friends at The Cube. There is a view of the sea and we were entertained by a crowd of young men fishing on a wharf and swimming. The chef came out (probably because he knows one of my friends) and he was happy to make a slight adjustment to the menu to accommodate my tastes. At this time, Sierra Leoneans seem very happy to see all the foreigners who have come to help overcome the epidemic so this degree of warmth and special attention may be related to that as much as to their natural welcoming nature.

Having tried Senegalese food...I thought it would be wrong to leave Freetown without trying out Sierra Leonean dishes.....We were not disappointed. The meun was expansive and the prices great. I tried several African and Sierra Leonean dishes and end up liking Cassava leaves with palm oil, cooked with meat......I will be coming back here when next in Freetown.

I went here with co-workers when I was in town on business. We ate inside because it was so hot. Staff was friendly, service was good, food tasty. I asked the waitress how spicy a chicken dish was, and she said it is made to order. So I requested mild spice. It was spicier than I expected, so keep that in mind if you do not regularly eat spicy Indian food. I suspect that was what gave me tummy troubles the next day. Another note: restroom is unisex with separate stalls. No separate rooms for men and women.

Founded in 1990, the Crown Bakery is the perfect oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Freetown, and our aim has always been to provide you with the highest quality food and service in our spacious and fully air conditioned restaurant.
Greta food and great service and good prices. The A/C is always working and they keep it nice and cold for us crazy tourists. You see mostly folks who are in S.L. for mission work, government work, industry etc. you also see locals but not as many as us outsiders. They also do a wedding cake business, pastry items and sell fried chicken so many folks just come in to get those items over the counter and leave. They have clean working bathrooms with TP and toilets that flush well and have running water to wash up. They also have a generator so if power should go out they can do it use to function. The wait staff is very attentive and make sure all your needs are met. The food is really good. I typically get their small personal pizza which is made for one but will easily feed two! Also love their hummus. An order of that will feed 3-4 folks also. I have never heard anyone complain about any of the meals they have gotten here and I have eaten here with mission teams quite a few times over the last 10-12 yrs. also when you order a soda here you can trust the glass of ice they give you for it. It is made out of clean water. So that is also a treat because it is one of the few places we were able to trust the ice.

We came here for lunch with a family friend. Our group ordered different options, from jollof rice to pizza and swarma. Crown Bakery has been a consistent location downtown, this site is newer and carries some of the same choices. That said, I prefer the downtown original location.

Great atmosphere, crowd is a bit young, or recapturing their youth, anyway we loved it but eventually moved on to another late-night spot which was staying open later than here! Parking could be a nuisance but get there early, and youâre fine or just leave your driver to sort that out whilst you hop in to hit the dance floor early. They have a number of bars which are well-stocked and well-served, and they use some (not much) local Sierra Leonean staff with visible responsibility - the place is likely foreign-owned, or profit-sharing with Lebanese/Sierra Leonean citizens. The cocktails are not all that. Would return.
