Looking for restaurant with clam chowder on an (early) Sunday evening. It was not very crowded at all in the dining room (2 other couples), so it was easy to talk together. We were seated fairly quickly eventually to a window table. Was asked about drinks, requesting water and an iced tea. The Wait staff came to take our order. Asked for clam chowder and other dishes, the order was placed, then water was provided (but no iced tea). Wait staff came back to say the last cup of chowder was just taken... When my wife responded that was odd (for a seafood restaurant), the reply was, âWell, you can talk to the kitchen about that (or words to that effect). I was looking to try the pumpkin bisque, and still didnât get my iced tea, but decided with the wait staffâs rude response that weâd cancel our order. When on our way out the wait staff asked why, I told her that her response about not having chowder was inappropriate. She responded that she said it in a âjoking mannerâ. We didnât take it that way. She may have had a bad day, but the lack of something in the kitchen on the menu is a concern for the entire staff. We went on to the Mariner, where their wait staff treat a customer the way they should be treated...

CC's is our go-to spot for good take-out. Their fish & chips are always good on a Friday night and their steak sandwiches are excellent. I've eaten there a few times and it's comfortable as a sports pub, with a large bar with several tv monitors dialed in to various local sports events. I have friends who go there for trivia night. If you're looking for good take-out or a place to relax with friends, CC O'Brien's is worth a visit.

Quaint space with scenic water views offering upscale seafood & American entrees, plus a raw bar.
We dined at the Harbour House Restaurant in Mystic last evening. We were seated at a cozy table in front of the fireplace on a very chilly, raw night so the atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful. The service was flawless and the entrees were delicious. My wife chose tuna and I selected the bouillabaisse. Both dishes were excellent. We live in Florida now but had spent the previous thirty years in Connecticut on the shoreline, about 30 miles west of Mystic but had never visited the Harbour House. For anyone living near Mystic or just âpassing throughâ I would highly recommend this great restaurantâ-donât miss it!

Downtown Westerlyâs crafted comfort brewpub. The menu consists of locally sourced seasonal ingredients while the bar offers handcrafted cocktails and 24 draft craft beers featuring house brewed beers.
We had a very good meal complimented by very good service. I had shrimp over penne and my wife had salmon encrusted with everything. The food was served timely, hot and perfectly cooked both appetizer and the meal and the dessert was very nice too. The server was hard working, friendly with a great personality. You canât ask for more. We will be back.

This is not a huge chain but they do things right. you would not know it was a chain as the service is outstanding. the quality of the food is great and the products are always made to order and fresh and the prices are not bad at all. I love the steak tips with sides.they give you plenty of food for the money. always satisfied here.

Tucked away downtown Westerly, inconspicuous, but don't pass this place by. Meg was our server, delightfully warm and friendly, attentive and efficient, made us feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant setup is uniquely different from any other we've experienced, booths and tables, very comfortable and an attractive bar. Cocktails are generous as well as the food portions, all of which are outstanding. We will be back!

We ate at the bar while watching some football. Had some apps and then stayed for dinner also. Food was great. Prime Rib was really really good, bruschetta, shrimp cocktail and clam chowder were all very good also. The Espresso Martini was the best and biggest I have ever had.The place is very clean, nicely decorated, prices were reasonable, and the staff was great.

We decided to have a late lunch here because of the location. It was crowded but we got one of the last available tables, unfortunately seated under the kitchen ventilation system, but it was only a minor inconvenience. The adirondack chairs lining the oceanfront looked inviting and a great place for a drink. My lobster roll was just OK. For some reason lobster rolls in this area have scallions which isn't my favorite flavor in a lobster roll - overbearing - keep it simple! Also, the roll was too bulky and the lobster salad itself had excess juice...but the portion size was generous. My husband enjoyed his lobster tacos. The drinks were fun, the service was great and the view was perfect.

This is an experience you cannot miss. Great indoor or outdoor place for cocktails and good food while enjoying seaside views. Windjammer offers a beachfront pier and outdoor bar, to enjoy your favorite beers, wines, drinks and seafood, while watching local surfers try their skills on some unpredictable surf (sometimes mild, sometimes rough), depending on weather conditions. Westerly Beach and Misquamicut on either side, you never know who might show up (celebs). Summer is crowded so our favorite time to visit is just after Labor Day. No matter when you choose, it is a treat!

My husband and I came in here as part of a small event. The place was very accommodating and nice with lots of space available. There was a singer there that night (he was amazing) so it was very crowded. The owner was very hands on and we saw lots of employees working hard. They have an excellent tap list available. My one complaint is based on a handful of the servers that were there. Since the rest of the servers and bartenders were so friendly I didn't mark the experience down since I don't believe that this is the norm. I was going up to pay so I went over to the side where the register was located. It overlapped a little bit into the area where the servers wait for their drinks to be made, but all I was doing was handing the bartender my credit card to close out so I wasn't too worried that my elbow was in their space. A couple of the servers were clearly annoyed by this (I was there for 2 minutes and the register was located there so it didn't seem like a big deal) so they put up a line separator/blocker while I was there, nudged me with the thing and didn't apologize (the entire time muttering annoyances under their breath). I understand when a place is packed and you're trying to get around customers that you can get frustrated, but you're in the service industry and having a packed bar is a good thing. Other than that the experience was great.
