Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Canyon Rim Visitor Center - wonderful Bob Evans Restaurant! Food and service was great - reasonably priced. Love that they have a "Senior" menu. Everything cooked to our specifications. Large portions - huge bowl of grits! Great atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. A great start to our day!

The restaurant is inside the Quality Inn. There is a large selection on the menu. The Chicken Wing is excellent. The Grilled chicken is also very good. The server is very nice and pleasant. The service is fast, which was a pleasant surprise. The price is reasonable, the special of the week is really a good deal.
Wood Iron Eatery is a small cafe, serving made from scratch breakfast, lunch and baked goods, coffee drinks, and teas. It is an upbeat, casual atmosphere with the best deck in town for hanging out on pretty days. Chef and wife-owned, with specials daily.
Driving around New River, WV area, had lunch at Wood Iron Eatery. We both had the coconut curry special - one with tofu and one with chicken. Other delicious choices of sandwiches and salads. plenty of parking beside the big white house. Definitely a treat if you are in the area.
This was our first time eating at Firecreek on the recommendation of some of the locals & it definitely lived upto what we'd been told. Excellent food, great waitstaff, good prices & what's not to like about a souped-up mac & cheese dish? We'll be back.

Visited here for dinner while we were in the area white water rafting. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. I had the meatloaf and thought it had great flavor. My wife got steak and unfortunately it was cold when they brought it out. We sent it back and by the time they got it warmed up correctly it was over cooked. They did remove it from our bill though. Their desserts were also outstanding.

Drove 2 hours to dine at this restaurant for our 43rd anniversary but wish we hadnât. We were quickly seated and our female sever took care of us efficiently. But, our food was NOT good. The 1/2 rack ribs looked good when she delivered them to our table, but wow....they were so tough a knife wouldnât cut them. Yes, she did apologize for them and did remove the cost from our bill. And, even though promised, we never got the muffins that were near ready in the oven. I guess they never got baked. Just a bad experience. It would have been appropriate for the manager to come to our table, but never saw one. On the bright side....the Mexican corn was really good. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. We value your feedback and will be sharing it with our team to see how we can improve on things. We hope you will give us another chance sometime soon to prove to you that we are better! And to have some more Mexican street corn!

We visited here for breakfast on a Saturday around 9:45 am. Easy to locate, free parking. We joined our group who had already arrived, were seated, and served. We were greeted about 10 minutes later and ordered a ham croissant to share. During our waiting time, we noted the beautiful architecture of the church, the windows, the colors, and so on. Noted their gift shop area with local goods for purchase. Everyone was in a great mood. Food arrived about 10 minutes later. Large portion, delicious, and filling. Snagged a few post cards at checkout. Fun, easy-going breakfast for sure!

We were here on a beautiful Friday afternoon and walked right in to a table on the porch. It was very cozy and much like what a secret society location would be. The menu is a little out of the ordinary and the foods we had were very good, came out hot and the service was very good. Our server was very knowledgeable of the area and was happy to answer our questions. We enjoyed our time here an will recommend it to our friends. The only cons were that we felt it was slightly pricey and were disappointed that the homemade chips seemed like they had been done for a while.Thank you for your kind words!

Right smack dab on the rim of West Virginia's New River Gorge, we're serving pub food and fun times. Please check our website for hours.
We stayed at Adventures on the Gorge resort for three nights and had dinner here on Monday and there was a live bluegress band as well as a special on wings for a dollar each. You go up to the counter to order, but table service was attentive, gracious, excellent. Our table of six enjoyed a large salad, wings, barbecue sandwiches and brisket and they were all great.Thank you, Anna Margaret! You should check out our new wing night that we just launched this month during your next stay at AOTG! Hope to see you again soon!
