Just a very memorable meal! Service was top notch and unbeatable and the restaurant setting is incredible! Food was also great (though not perfect) and very much enjoyable. They served me two extra complimentary courses. Try the rabbit, it was delicious! ANd def go for the guava desert. The meal just ended on such a high note with a variety of deserts. A huge thank you to the team! For pictures and full reviews, check out my instagram where I have shared my deeper thoughts about each dish: @life_on_a_pause (Ahmad Abdullah)

Nestled in New York City's Upper West Side, Levain headquarters is a cozy neighborhood bakery where locals are greeted by name. A steady stream of loyal regulars stand side by side with tourists, eager to sample the legendary baked goods. From an inventive array of rustic breads to the world-famous six-ounce chocolate chip walnut cookie, everything is baked on-site, fresh every day from the finest natural ingredients. What doesn't sell that day goes to help feed the hungry-a mission that has been solidly in place since the beginning. The bakery was founded in 1994 by friends Connie McDonald and Pam Weekes. At the time, Connie was in banking and Pam in Fashion. The two, both competitive swimmers, trained together for the Ironman and-not surprisingly, as their tireless workouts left them feeling starved for great food- they began a passionate dialog about creating the world's greatest chocolate chip cookie. Within just a few years, Levain Bakery had become a neighborhood institution and a destination for epicurious travelers from around the world. Demand continued to grow. In 2000, to satisfy their regular clientele summering in the Hamptons, the two opened a second bakery in the village of Wainscott on Long Island's East End. And today, through their website, they now ship their world-famous cookies to happy fans around the globe.
I got the chocolate chip and walnut cookie and the dark chocolate and peanut butter cookie.
While both cookies were wonderfully warm, fresh, and gooey (and remained remarkably so even after a 20-minute walk/subway ride to our hotel), I didn't find them significantly better than other fresh-baked cookies I've eaten-- at least, not better enough to be worth the line and price.

I think there's no other CUBAN restaurant in New Jersey or even in New York that compares to Rumba Cubana !

Absolutely the best seafood restaurant we have been to and one of the best restaurants full stop. The way that seafood is handled at this restaurant is special. From the beginning to the end you meal flows effortlessly, each course better than the next. Don't forget dessert, they too are something to behold and a special finish to a special evening. A must when visiting New York.

I am obligated to share both my recent best experiences at Mille-Feuille Bakery & Cafe, New York. Firstly it was the heavenly dessert which are to die for at the bakery and secondly , attending one of their Macaron class that was conducted by Chef Pierre Adrien from France. He is both funny , highly inspiring and making baking so simply & interesting .
Both the experiences were fantastic , especially the classes that was conducted so professionally and with so much fun. Looking forward to attend other classes in the near future.
Keep it up !
