Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Bekasi. Bekasi City (Indonesian: Kota Bekasi, Sundanese: ᮊᮥᮒ ᮘᮨᮊᮞᮤ, Chinese: 勿加泗市) is a city in West Java, Indonesia, located on the eastern border of Jakarta within the Jakarta metropolitan region. It serves as a commuter city for Jakarta, although it has notable trade, business and processing industries. The borders for this city are Bekasi Regency at the north and east, Bogor Regency and Depok City at the south, as well as East Jakarta at the west. It is Indonesia's most populated incorporated suburban city to Jakarta, and one of the most populated worldwide, but still trails the likes of Incheon and Yokohama. The large number of multinational companies, has apparently attracted a lot of expatriates (mainly Japanese and Korean) to settle in Bekasi.

Yes. I said it. Although the restaurant did serve other variety of Indonesian and Chinese food, I particularly love their chicken noodle (and related variants). Also their fried wontons (pangsit goreng) are absolutely delicious and will always be part of my meal whenever I eat at this place. Aside from its tasty food, the portion also enough and will fill an average Indonesian male. The price is also not that expensive, although it definitely higher than the typical noodle restaurant, but the taste did deserve that kind of price.Had to admit, I rarely eat Bakmi GM at Metropolitan Mall, but I am a frequent customer of this franchise at its other branches in Jakarta and Bekasi :)
This is my "go-to" restaurant in Bekasi and whenever I am at Summarecon Mall. It is open and spacious and caters for small groups, families, couples and single diners. Good value for freshly prepared and tasty food. Cleanliness and hygiene is impressive. One of the few restaurants where you can buy beer in Bekasi.
Nice and simple place to bring family for light dinner or lunch. Price is average. Food is yummy and mostly Indonesian chinese food.
This is my first review as Bekasi citizen. Koma Junkyard located 2 km east from Summarecon Mall Bekasi, just across the river from Rumah Duka Dharma Agung. Established late 2014, Koma Junkyard opens in the evening till midnight and can be categorized as hawker center since there are variety of food stalls available. The place has multiple point of interest, the riverside, the big tree, the food truck and usually crowded with young adults. My favorite food are nasi goreng and fu yung hai. If you want something lighter, try the dimsum. For drinks i usually go with coke float or lychee tea.
