We stopped by the Wood River Inn nihilism traveling through Rhode Island. Our lunch was quite nice. My fish and chips was very well done, and served with both malt vinegar and tartar sauce. My wife's sandwich drew raves from her. Service was prompt and attentive. Bar looked very nice.

I wouldn't say it was in the Middle of Nowhere but not in a city for sure. A couple miles E of I-95S and about 5 miles south of I-95S as it bends around for a east-west orientation, this place is an absolute gem. They have an extensive breakfast-->dinner menu at decent prices. I got the large serving of ham, baked potato, and zucchini for around $8.50 I think. The servings were plentiful and I had trouble eating it all and I was hungry at the time. I ordered it there to go and only had to wait a few minutes. To be fair, this was around 3 PM so not their busiest time. There was enough parking there but can't attest to the parking situation under busier times.

We live in Coventry and are clients of Borrelli's Pastry Shop. They are the best! We have ordered special occasion cakes from this shop and most often always get an assorted tray of mini pastries for company. Love everything there! Service is excellent as well.

I drive by a lot and finally went in. I was taken care of by this really nice young lady with the nicest smile and just so nice. This is what a person should be like at every place you go to be served.I would clone her. the donuts were fresh and the slush drink was very nice. I got the small which was fine.
good parking in back. I will go back just for the smile.

When we moved to Rhode Island. I was 5 and Allies made having to attend fire and brimstone mass worthwhile because we'd get Allies afterward. I treat my office colleagues to Allies once in awhile but recently we had a family reunion of sorts and I went to get doughnuts on a summer Sunday morning. Mistake. 30 minute wait and at least 8 types I wanted were not available even with more waiting. Very disappointing. But the doughnuts are still the best anywhere.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food in this restaurant! Started out the evening with fried pickles and beer and worked our way through the mouth-watering burgers! Definitely a great place to eat if you love food!

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
We visited this restaurant for breakfast, and pretty much knew what to expect, since on the whole this is one of our favourite breakfast diners in the USA.
As usual the waiting staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food arrived without too much delay. I had their pancakes which were very nice indeed. Coffee is good too. Oh and the shop always has something in it to tempt me!
I do like this chain, with their 'country' ambiance. Always good. Always reliable.

I have been going to Gelina's my entire life! It was the best thing when I was younger post-soccer, softball, whatever. They excel in their softserve (chocolate dipped swirl cones for life) and I like their Italian ice (watermelon is the best). I took my husband there since he grew up in Annapolis and did not get to delight in Gelina's a youngster.
