Greek food, mostly barbequed meat, Greek salad, cheese pie. Everything is cooked at the time you order by the owner. Some times and only if there are fresh, you can eat fish, fish soup or hunting! Always ask if there is anything special of the day!
Whilst staying in Katakolon we were invited to this taverna in the small village of Korakohori a couple of miles away inland from the sea. We were made to feel very welcome in what is a locals taverna. The menu was great and there were good choices available. After our meal we were all given plates of fresh fruit and some ouzo. This taverna is highly recommended and if you are in the area of Katakolon take a taxi up here for a few euros.
I have been there many times as my husband is from Pyrgos. I ate many dishes and I am satisfied with all of them. The best one is the gournoupoula which is cooked on the karbona!!!! I loved the zucchini meatball! The Greek Salad and the tzaztiki are so tasty that we are used to finish them before other plates are coming. The owner and his stuff is very nice and kind!
