This I think is the best way to summarize the new concept launched by its new owners. Not expensive at all, decent food, efficient and friendly service. Excellent in combination with a walk or bike tour in the surrounding Scheldt-Leie landscape. On the downside: huge portions to our taste. Côte à l'os could be better (not really 'à point' and too much fat). The truffle taste in the carpaccio is a little overwhelming. But that's all ...

Central location and definitely a place to visit again. Beautiful inside, great food and good service, particularly on a Friday evening when it was completely full. A lot of artistry went into the presentation and the choice of individual components to each dish

Great location, great food and wine experience, perfect service ... at a reasonable price (during the week) for 4 courses dinner, paired wines, champagne aperitif and 2 half liter bottles of sparking water 120 ⬠p.p. My 2cents : currently best foodie place around Kortrijk and Waregem. Well done !

Excellent location and ample parking possibilities. Nice garden and interesting building. Cozy and stylish interior decoration. Efficient and warm service. Open kitchen. The menu list is very short, but the advantage is that food is fresh and delicious, and quickly served. If you take one item, you can have lunch or dinner in 30 minutes. If you want to spend a cozy evening, better take the daily menu. I had the penne, and my wife had the tuna tataki. Both dishes were delicious, and so was the house wine. Finally, quality/price ratio is very good. We only give five stars on a second visit, so we will be back shortly.

The smallest, but surely the best fondue-restaurant of the world!!! Great fondue, perfect vibe! You are most welcome!!!
Bistro Bordo is a cosy restaurant on the verge of the town center. The pleasant dining room immediately made us feel like home. The menu is all about fondue. Our group had the Mexican and the regular fondue, both of which were delicious. The same could be said of the (affordable) wine.During the entire meal, we got the full attention of the hostess, who kept bringing us new sauces, fries and fajitas. For an informal, relaxing, tasty and affordable dining experience in Kortrijk, head for Bistro Bordo!

Food and wine are decent. The outside terrace is nice. Tables are very close, so this is the place for a romantic tête à tête, contrary to what the previous reviewer stated.Warning: they have no form of electronic payment whatsoever. I had to run to the bank afterwards. Fortunately, they trusted me.So, all by all a decent place to have lunch or dinner. Only the speed of the kitchen remains my biggest concern. Especially at noon; in the evening this would be less of a problem.

Lâenvie is a top level restaurant located in rural West-Flanders in the commune of St Denijs, part of Zwevegem. The chef and his wife (maître) create a cordial environment with respect for French-style haute cuisine and the etiquette that comes with it without being too stiff. The wines are well selected but classic and in my opinion the lady of the house should dare serving out-of-the-box more modern styles. The food was delicious at comparable level of some Michelin one-star restaurants in the area like Berto in Waregem and Marcus in Deerlijk. I personally felt that the combinations were sometimes too complex in some courses. Certain local produce deserves less creativeness to allow standing out. This didnât held for the main course, though, which was amazing. It comes out as one of the best main courses I had in top restaurants this year. The Ardenneâs roebuck was tender, perfectly seared and ripened⦠an absolute hit! Furthermore, the chef has a patisserie background and as a signature closing dish, he serves a lovely Liègeois waf-fle from a family secret recipe inherited from his father. Only for that, one would go back any time begging for more. Price was acceptable, although as in most of these restaurants aperitif is overpriced at â¬15 for a medium quality champagne which probably isnât even â¬15 for a bottle. That is a shame and the Flemish should step up more and refuse ordering aperitif at that priceâ¦
