We did see a nice website, a chef with Michelin star experience, nice dishes, ... we went with nice expectancy :-). But it was rather a disappointment ! Friendly service, nice restaurant, no problem. But a filet mignon with béarnaise sauce that is not fresh or self made ? A fish platter with sole filet as a frozen product, near the sea ? No, this is for me really not done. And this for a price that is rather high ... Honestly, there are really much better places to go at this level !!

A fantastic dining experience for my partner and myself. From the time we entered to the time we left everything was so perfect. This is a very small personal, intimate restaurant owned by the chef who clearly prides himself in his work. On arrival we were invited to sit at the chefs table where we could view all the dishes being prepared for our gourmet dinner. Quite fascinating, everything was so orderly and calm. Our waiter went to great lengths to translate and describe all the dishes. Following a very delicate amuse-bouche; from the 3 or 4 course menu we chose the sea bass, the guinea fowl, then either the cheese board or the chefs special desert. All beautiful cooked and presented. The waiter also suggested a limited edition Belgian Chardonnay that went very well with our meal.On leaving the chef personally retrieved our coats and was pleased to know that we enjoyed both his food and our evening. Full marks and highly recommended. It follows advanced booking is essential.

We visited this restaurant with a gift certificate "bongo"We could have the day menu, without desert and coffee, and a bottle of house one (white, rosé or red). We also got a amuse, which was a nice plus. This was fine for us, as the main was fish, which we always want, when going to resto at the coast.the food was simple, but good. Not fancy and glam, but honest food with fresh ingredients. We were happy with what we were served, and the rosé wine was nice. They have a nice terrace, but when heavy rain, I would recommend to sit inside.

Lovely meal, great service. I had mussels, they were delicious. Would highly recommend if you're in Blankenberg

When you eat on the terrace overlooking the beach (nice view as it stands higher than surrounding terraces) you don't have the same menu as inside the restaurant, mostly quick dishes and a few mussles preparations. The salads are ok but on the pricey side, the mussles were expensive! You get half the portion you would in the restaurant next door for the same price. But they were good.

We had a super delicious meal in Ten Doele, a very good looking interior which is way above the typical "stuff as many tourists as possible" restaurants you find in blankenberge. Because of the price setting you are forced into the menu, 45,50 euro for the 3 course menu while a main course from the a la carte card easily sets you back 30 euro. However, we can't complain because the menu contains more than sufficient choices. The only negative we can say about this restaurant is that, if you want to go for dinner in a weekend, it's impossible to get a table if you don't book 2 months upfront. For2x menu + apperitive + wine + coffee we paid 140 euro

One of the best restaurants on this side of the Belgian coast. No tourist food, but real excellent cuisine! Very nice people, not too posh. Go for the Lunch menu or Menu d'amis. You can have them with our without wines. The price is a bit high wines included, but they serve a very good wine with every course. Our favorite restaurant!

No-nonsense filosophy. You constantly see the owner/chef in the fully open kitchen. Fresh fish counter. Restaurant and fish shop in one.
I'd be hard put to choose between this place and Bistr'o'bergine, just across the road; both offer excellent dining experiences. Not too much choice on the menu, but then in my experience this is a good sign that the kitchen offers fresh produce and doesn't overstretch itself. Fish soup had a rich depth of flavour - aniseed (pastis?) and tomato - and lots of chunky, tasty fish. The chef's speciality of ray was simply and beautifully cooked and presented.Smallish restaurant, elegantly furnished, and with a nice seating area for drinks before/after your meal. The kitchen is almost part of the restaurant, behind a counter, so you can watch everything going on, if you wish. Service friendly and professional. We're grateful to hear that you enjoyed your meal in our restaurant.

I've been there for at lest 100 (hundred YES) times and was never disappointed : All fish is really fresh and perfect cooked. Ann & Frank (brother & sister) give you a great welcome an d brother Steve together with his mother are the steady professionals in the kitchen. Heaven on earth. Also one of the few restaurant were the napkins are fine. Honnestly, no competition on 60 km belgian coast.
