This restaurant serves a mix of a few asian cuisines. When I visited (lunchtime) you could choose from a buffet with a number of options of hot and cold food, including salads. There's also a small menu to choose from, which includes a vegan option, which I selected. The food was alright, pretty much what you would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful and my food was on the table within ten minutes from ordering.

God och fräsch sushi av standardkaraktär anpassad för medelsvensken. Bitarna är stora med mycket ris och saknar den finess och variation som utmärker äkta sushi. Passar bra som dagens lunch men är inget för finsmakaren.

We came here for a dinner imbues, two ladies serving, the sushi were nothing extraordinary, but quite good, we asked for some sashimi - not on the menu - and got some salmon and tuna.Very good: The fish was really fresh! Better than in many places in Germany!

We were hungry for sushi a Sunday evening and all the usual places were closed. We decided to give this place a try and bought 20pcs and liked it alot!The restaurant itself is not that cosy, but do try the food.

Umai City has just opened in Halmstad after 8 years in Söndrum. Familybusiness with daughter head of City, Halmstad. nice place, good parking in the center of Halmstad, near the Theater. Exciting menu, that changes every week, full of exvcellent japanese tapas meals. they also have suchi !!! Plus take-away. Very nice and friendly staff, particularly the daughter. Excellent food, not too big dishes but if uoy want more just tell the kitchen and you get as much as you want !! Can really recommend !!!

Simple "everyday Thai food" of the best kind. Fresh ingredients, wooking "to the point", kind and speedy service. And very affordable!From the a la carte, main dishes well below 20 EUR.Evening buffet or Asian BBQ for 20 EUR. Hot Pot available by pre order (1 day in advance).A glass of wine is 6 EUR. A bargain...Interior is nice and calm. Main dining area is in the corner of the building facing the street. Furnishing simple but not without style.Recommended if you're searching for Asian eating in Halmstad!

When in Halmstad, I usually try to go here because this place might serve one of Swedens best sushi. Conclusion after this visit - they still got it! Lots of variation on the plate, hardly one piece is the same as another. All decorated nicely making them small pieces of art. Highly recommended!

I donât eat fish at all. My husband loves sushi. First time when we visited this restaurant, I ordered a beef dish. And I order it from the lunch menu ever since .. Such a complex and well balanced dish, I just love it! The sushi is great too- my husband is happy with it!
