Cyrano has it's roots in the south of France. Our hear is wood-fired oven where we are baking thin crust provencal style pizza . Our pizza is unique. Thin crust, homemade sauce and best quality toppings. Beside pizza you can find in our place mediterranea
We had lunch here on a lovely summer day, sat outside and it was very cosy. The pizza was so good, we finished our plates all four of us :) Can highly recomend it!

This restaurant is a little out of town (or at least, a little uphill from the river, which means that you are less likely to pass it by accident). It's a wonderful place. All the right foods are served here: Swedish starters, satisfyingly heavy meat and fish main courses, dessert courses served with goo and sweet wines. Speaking of wines, they get that right, too.Not the cheapest place in town to eat, but not the most expensive And it's good. And, as I mentioned in the title, the folks who run the place have a wicked sense of humour. If you like that, you'll definitely like this.

It is truly a wonder that there can be so much raw / healthy-styley food available for a reasonable rate. Most raw restaurants charge you "tower food" prices and creatively carve a sprig of celery to justify the fortune. Here, you are granted access to any and all and as much as you'd like. A word of warning however: watch the food combinations that you choose. With such powerful medicine/food on offer, having one of everything is sure to "backfire". Probably best to choose just 2-5 items on the buffet that you like and eat those only. Really great place and super friendly staff and owners!

Looking for a good beef this is the place in Borås. You choose the piece of meat you want and then add the extras as you want or how hungry you are. Beef is worth waiting for. Sadly the service is not as good as the beef.

Dinner for six on a Saturday night, booked well in advance. The restaurant is quite spacious and intimate in the âloungeâ room with several round sofas around round tables where we 6 can all sit (bigger groups get chairs as well). The old-style lamps are dimmed, giving a rather cosy and luxurious atmosphere, with racks full of wine and champagne bottles on the walls. All promising so far! But here come's the first hitch, so ordinary in Sweden: our waitress is so âblaséâ (French-themed restaurant, remember?) and shows it rather frankly, which suddenly dims the whole table's positive feeling. She really doesn't make an effort⦠Coming to the food, we skip starters and order mains directly. Prices are rather common for âfine diningâ in Sweden. I personally order the âtuna niçoiseâ (taken from niçoise salad I suppose). I suppose, because it's quite a disappointment: 6 seared sashimi-sized tuna-filet bits with 3 grilled gem salads (yes, 3! And no sauce of course). Oh, and three green asparagus and a halved quail egg. It tastes good but how cheap is that for 229 SEK?! No need to say I was still hungry after that. Maybe it would have helped to give us some bread from the beginning (French-themed restaurant, remember?) because we didnât get any (the closest to a basket of bread costs 49 SEK and is listed as an appetiser). It seems that the best food we got was the gnocchi and the risotto. Moreover, most of the mains require extra-money for sides. However, the dessert, âfattiga riddareâ (French toast served with roasted white chocolate ice cream) was succulent yet a little stingy as well because itâs merely a half-toast. We paid with our cards, as itâs a cash-free place, which we hadnât noticed. We had booked an hour of boules and another of shuffleboard following the dinner (there is a boule bar upstairs). Iâll just point that the young bartender there served me a 1 part liquor-1 part water-1 ice cube pastis in a wine glass, which canât really be worse (French-themed restaurant, remember?). And my girlfriendâs cocktail was pretty much rum with many ice cubes. As for the boules, itâs nicely done yet with quite dusty and soft sand (choose your shoes wisely), so bowls donât really roll and instead get buried. Shuffleboards are fun but too closely put together, which means itâs hard to move around when all are taken. Finally, +1 for the small individual sponge towels in the bathroom, always appreciated.

We were a larger group who had a dinner on a Monday evening. It was not a lot more people than us, thus we got the service we needed. We tried a tapas menu with 7 different plates, from Enchiladas to shrimp sandwich. The location is in the other side of the river compared to downtown.

Use to be quite good but for any reason food got below average. Strong Garlic taste no flavours in general, Entrecote fillet just full of fat and not proper grilled... Frustration!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Vinci. Food was delicious - a mix between Italian and Swedish - and service impeccable (thank you Shaune!!).We had the cheese and charcuterie plate: rich and decadent, superb selection of charcuterie - prosciutto, salame, pancetta, capocollo- and cheeses). We also had fish tartare - fresh and balanced -, Swedish mozzarella- what a surprise!Main course was the beef tartare, bistecca and fish with roasted vegetables...all delicious. There is a great wine list too....Net, a great address in Boras...Thank you so much for your kind words Stefano. Hope to see you soon again // Dear, Vinci Family

Went here twice on my trip to Boras. First time i had the vegan chilli which was very tasty. The second visit I had the venison steak - cooked to perfection. On both visits I had a glass of the Love cabernet sauvignon. Service was very friendly.
