An iconic Kokata landmark known for great times, Trincas holds a special place in every Kolkatan's heart. There are memories here - of first dates, dancing, great birthday parties, amazing food and beautiful music... To be in Trincas is to be in someone's
Kolkata is synonymous with Music; Music and Party Scene equals to Park Street and Trincas is one of the very famous one from the olden days nearly 60 years and still going strong. What is that keeps live...the live band every night. One band plays Bollywood will 9pm and the next one plays a mix of Retro Hollywood and Bollywood depending on requests. We got a mix of both as we reached around 8.30 on a Saturday Night. We got the best table of the house which is the corner one. It is slightly elevated so you can see the full floor and eye level with the stage. The place was buzzing with families and groups. One thing very peculiar was that most people knew each other so I assume its like they are regulars. It felt more like a restaurant at the clubs. The singers are good but as usual they are choosy about what they sing from your request sheet. We had sent four only one got played the whole evening. As the evening gets younger the tables get moved and dance floor evolves. The live band goes on till 11ish before the shut at 1130.The food and service is good. They have a full fledged Chinese menu too as they have adjoining Chinese restaurant too which shares a glass wall with Trincas. In case you looking for a quieter place then you could sit there. Its a Must Visit to get a slice of Kolkata Music HistoryThank you Deepak! Yes, we are one of the only full-fledged restaurants in the city that have live music every single day (all the way from the 1960s!) 6 - 9 PM Hindi and 9:30 - 11:30 PM English So happy you enjoyed the food and the vibe! We've been working hard on both!

This 24-hour dining area serves the best cuisine from around the world. With a 17 meter waterfall, bridge and landscape surroundings, it is easy to forget that you are inside a hotel but rather transported to a vibrantly serene environment. The multi cuis
This is the place which will never let you down, if you are hungry at any time of the day. I have lost count the number of times I have been there. The best is the buffet, which has a good variety in Indian, continental & Chinese. The staff are very friendly and they know the choices of a regular visitors. The best part is its open 24 hour, and when the last order is by 11.00 pm in most of the places in park Street, if you are late from extended work, you are saved by the Bridge. They do have "Hilsa Festival" during the monsoon and being a Bengali a must to attend for me.If you are Hungry, want to have food outside, no matter what is the time, Bridge is always open for you.

Located amidst the luxury of The Lalit Great Eastern, Alfresco is the 24 hours world cuisine diner offering cuisines across the globe and signature dishes from Bengal.
We had buffet breakfast and evening meal here and have absolutely no complaints. Large choice of cooked and cold food. Their pastry selection is excellent. Our only negative comment is the seating, the cushions were stained and should have been replaced. However, we would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant but food wasn't that tasty. Think meat is the speciality and it looked good, but if you are vegetarian it's a bit limited

As Shakespeare said, âAll the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely playersâ. At Zen with the kitchen on display and the bar counter as the stage, all the ingredients are merely players, playing out their parts to create vibrantly enticing art

have been there on 19.09.2019. They are a pretty old restaurant located at the junction of park street and free school street. They are still maintaining the quality of food, however the attitude of the staff needs to be improved. The ambience is ethnic, as it was. The area is very spacious. Best time for family is for lunch.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The decor is ok, but we came for the food. The wait staff exceeded our expectations. The host even split our plates for a group of 7 with the best of each dish. Weâll definitely come again.
