Well Known multi cuisine restaurant at proper Burdwan. specially for Kababs & Biriyani. Décor quite decent with wooden works. A complete family restaurant with great service. Must eat Leg Kababs, Chelo kabab. But Chinese also mouthwatering. Cozy sofa for
I must say its a heaven for foodies at our Burdawan. Nice atmosphere, toooo good food and hats off to the service, really unbelievable and of course worth going there. I will definitely recommend all the viewers please visit Mainak whenever you are looking for a Hangout. Starting from mocktails, they are really fab. Moving on to starters, we had awesome Leg kabab, looking too good, test mouthwatering. Then i went on to my favorite Paneer Jalfrezi (which was good as usual) and Navratan Polao. USP is they used fresh own make soft moist paneer. But the show stealer of the day was my friendâs Chelo kabab, served with three types of different soft juicy kababs. We finished off with a Tooty Fruity. Really show stopper.
It located near BITM College on the Illambazar Road. It serves good quality foods at affordable prices. The dishes have not have much varieties though but taste is good.
We had to wait for long as there was a party going on inside. So we got the food packed. That also took much time. After getting back home we found the food is of not very good quality.
I'm a Japanese living in Delhi. When I visited this place, the restaurant had 4.5 stars. So, I expected a good restaurant. It was not very easy to find it as the location on the map was not accurate, and the restaurant does not have clear sign board.Actually, the restaurant was not clear nor clean to me.So, I gave up having lunch here.I hope the construction in front of the restaurant completes soon, and the restaurant becomes clean.

Situated opposite to Santiniketan Tourist lodge this is one of the best restaurants in Bolpur and Santiniketan region. Spectacular interior matches with mouth watering Indian, Chinese and Continental food. I prefer Chinese delicacy, especially crispy chicken as starter and noodles with garlic lemon chicken platter. Quantity is enough and take away packs are good with nominal extra cost. Only two small problems this restaurant has, 1) They take much time to serve food when seats are almost full and 2) Seats other than big sofas are not much comfortable.

During our recent visit to Shantiniketan, we went there for Lunch.First day We ordered ---Chiken curry (tasted like soup),Rice,Alu-Potoler sabji,Prawn Malaikari,Chatni and Lassi.Next day: Rice, Dal ,Katla Macher curry,Prawn curry ,Polao and Mutton Kosha.I like only -Prawn Malaikari and Mutton Kosha. Polao is horrible. The prices were reasonable and the servings were also adequate. Food is ok. Nothing extraordinary.Nice ambience with both AC and non-AC options.Enough parking space outside and there is handicraft showroom next door.

The food at Bonolakshmi is fresh and healthy , but one has to book in advance. That is the main problem. But a pure Bengali thali here with options of vegetarian, egg, fish, chicken and mutton meals is something that really gives a taste of Bengal. There are items like a variety of fish and dessert that can be ordered outside the thali. The place tends to get too crowded during weekends, and one has to wait for a table. The seating arrangement is very rudimentary as the main focus is on the food. Bonolakshmi also has a sale counter for fresh ghee, honey, pickles and handicrafts.
