Reviewed By kathas_trophiesI loved our stay at Kima Weligama. We stayed at Kima for about 3 weeks and we couldn't ask for a better time. Eat, sleep, surf. <3 The camp itself is cosy and chill, clean and wonderful. There were daily yoga sessions, a beachvolleyball court, balance boards, pool and more to explore. Location is quiet and close to the beach and also to some nice restaurants and bars. The food, drinks and the service in the camp (shoutout to Saranga, Ravishan, Kavidu, Thilina & Chinthaka - great bar staff!!) was amazing, friendly and always helpful. The rooms (with AC & mosquito nets) were super clean, spacious - loved the beds. Surf guiding was great! Got some helpful input from the guides. I really saw some good progress in my surfing. Thanks again for that! Also like the system with the stars. It's really easy and intuitive. The atmosphere was amazing and I had a great time. I will definitely come back!

Reviewed By AlesPragueThe food and service went so down after couple of years. Waiting one hour for drink and food with only 10 guests in the restaurant is a minimum. After one hour we had to send it back because it was not what we ordered. this used to be cool place, not any more

Central location, amazing hummus bar
Reviewed By MusicGem282We enjoyed staying here, the location is very central, it’s a good base for you to explore that part of the south coast. We were upgraded to their best room free of charge, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hummus bar (mezze) is delicious, only negative was that the breakfast is very lack lustre, they need to up their game on that front, but everything else was great!

Reviewed By 600rutgerhIt is a pretty new undiscovered place with an amazing rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view. We had the best non-local food here in 2 months of travelling Sri Lanka. The place is very clean, the staff are well mannered, very kind and are willing to do whatever it takes to make you have a nice experience. It is definitely worth it to go here!

Nice hostel and amazing staff
Reviewed By salyk1999Me and my friend stayed here for one night. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. The room and bathroom were clean and the price was very cheap. If you like more of a quiet hostel then this would be a good place. I would like to mention the amazing staff and especially the owner. I had a special request (needed to get in touch with a local) and the owner tried his best and went out of his way to help me with this. We left our luggage to explore Mirissa and when we came back for it, we were waiting for someone and we could even have a shower while waiting (long after checkout time). We could definitely say that we would return to this hostel. I recommend it 100%!!

Chill House is the new project from Good Story. This mini hotel consists of eight rooms of different types : basic, basic + and family room. This homelike place is based 10 meters walk to the beach side with yellow sand and soft waves suitable for bathing, diving, surfing. It's far from the road and shops, which makes this place really quiet where you can relax in silence and get rest from bustling.
DONT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO FEEL SAVE.
Reviewed By Verena GI came here with my boyfriend but he had to leave earlier. After that I had a local man from the beach stalking me. Following me everywhere, standing in front of my balcony the whole day. When I asked for help and advice the owner even tried to blame me "that we should not talk to anyone on the beach. He told me he know that this beach guy is dangerous. But only after me and my boyfriend talk to him. (Im traveling for 7 years, 4 month in Sri lanka, with and without my boyfriend and I never had problems). Tell your guests that the people at the beach are dangours for woman even if they have a man traveling with a man. They did not give me the money back for the nights I left earlier because I felt unsafe in this house and at this beach.

Fraud - stay away!
Reviewed By VictoriagranumI booked a stay at "Soul surfer Weligama" in January 2020 and had a question regarding their rooms. In their answer on messenger they say they don't exist anymore and aren't able to track down my booking number. I have contactet hotels.com and they say I should call their customer center and explain the case. Hotels.com say they will check it with the hotel and cancel my reservation afterwards if the hotel allows it. But it is pretty clear that this hotel wont allow it! They are doing this on purpose, and I will probably never get the money back!!

Enjoy the best of two worlds in this lovely property close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Weligama! Only a 10-minutes stroll away you can get a feeling about the real Sri Lanka at its best! We provide free Wi-Fi you can use everywhere around our property. All rooms have a storage space plus a desk. The property is big enough with plenty of spaces to relax and make yourself home.

Reviewed By NbaekHad the time of my life here. Spent in total more than 2 months during the corona times. They have one of the best matrasses of the Sri Lanka hostels. The AC rooms are amazing. + Razlan (the manager) is the best; very helpful and speaks very good english and is very clever. Feels sad to leave this place
