Italian Desserts, New York Style Italian Grinders, Chicken, Eggplant or Meatball Parm Subs, Lasagna and several other pasta dishes. Chicken Salad Wraps and Garden Salads.
Walking around in downtown Waterville we stumbled upon this wonderful Italian pastry shop. Ordered some delicious Cannoli (cheesecake and cookies and cream flavored fillings) and took them back to the hotel in Auburn. I may drive the hour it takes to get there again tomorrow just for the pastries! Wow!

We are a slightly upscale Steakhouse that also serves a nice variety of Seafood as well as Baby Back Ribs. Our Vegetarian selection is sure to please the most delicate of pallets.
Yum! Had the Fireside Salad with beef tips -- beef tips tender, done to order and plentiful! Son had stuffed haddock special. House rolls served -- all yum! Total bill $40 which is reasonable for serving size and steakhouse quality. Will go back in nicer weather so can sit on the porch and watch golfers!

We walked in to stretch our legs while beginning to head back home. The service was prompt and the drinks were good and hot.

18 Below offered oysters just harvested from a bay not more than 50 miles from Waterville. The freshness was absolutely incredible as was the briny flavor. They were the very best raw oysters I have ever eaten. They were so delectable I had a second order for dessert. The salmon was delicious as well. It was perfectly cooked, flakey, and well prepared.

Old fashion windows welcome you to Gifford's. The staff was very friendly and patient with indecisive children. We ordered small cones which were very generous 2 scoops. We tried to tip the staff but they could not accept but suggested putting $ in chariot tin they have for veterans. Admire company that installs those values.

Second visit to this tiny side street bakery; only offering is bread- round, loaf, baquette style....and all delicious and a real bargain for a HUGE loaf for $4.00!! I believe the couple are from the Ukraine....certainly from eastern Europe....and a real success story for immigrants who bring their skills to us!!

Asian Cafe is conveniently located on Bay Street in Winslow, Maine. A small, clean restaurant with very fast, friendly service, and great food!!! Noodles with egg, pineapple, green beans, cashews, baby corn, raisins, and carrots is my favorite dish loaded with flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant for eating in or take out.

Perhaps we should have turned around once we walked in. The person taking orders had a sour look on her face and said there was a 20-minute wait, despite the restaurant being rather empty. Well, it was more like a 45-minute wait. For nearly everyone that had ordered before us, there was a problem. Our food was quite bland. The pesto chicken wrap was more like mashed, flavorless green chicken. We both only ate half of our sandwiches.

Eleven people in our party (seven children). Waiting on that many children can be a little daunting, but our waitress was very patient and helpful. One in our party had some dietary restrictions and the waitress went out of her way to answer questions about food ingredients. The food was slightly above average. Adult entrees were generous and prepared very well. The scallops were reported as excellent and cooked just right. A pasta dish was good but needed more seasoning. The only disappointment was a hummus pita sandwich. The hummus had no perceptible garlic, tahini, or lemon. I honestly do not know how it passed for hummus. The children ate most of their food and said it was good. We would return but make different choices.
