Amazing Thai food here and the staff are so friendly and funny. Love their soups, noodles and red curries. Also like their crispy spring rolls and chicken satay. Went their twice this week and will definitely be returning as my #1 go to spot in WA for Thai food!

Expected a better experience according to previous reviews. Nice place, easy access near airport, good service, reasonable prices.Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Sauces were heavy and not especially tasty. Fried tofu was accompanied by a sweet chili sauce straight out of a supermarket bottle. Spring roll was deep fried with minimal veggies. Soup was overly spicy, though we requested mild.Portions were generous.Sadly, I would not recommend.

We came for a quick lunch and we're not disappointed. The restaurant itself is part of a strip mall. Once inside you are assailed with the aromas of spices and peanuts. There are a number of booths and tables, and the service is outstanding. I went with easy and grabbed the pad thai lunch special. This proved a solid choice and with the sides covered in yummy peanut sauce with a scoop of good quality rice, this proved an excellent meal. Definitely recommend!

"Serving Thai delish in a whimsical Thai house since 1993" Emerald Thai is locally owned and operated in city of Des Moines. Founded since 1993 by former Muay Thai prize fighter and UFC trainer. Our restaurant is heralded by locals and visitors alike for
Look past the outside, and the rent rooms by the hour motel next door, take a chance and visit this super friendly restaurant. We spent a couple of hours here with friends enjoying a leisurely afternoon lunch, want to know if your getting good service, ? Our other party hadnât even shown up yet, when the owner/waiter asked me if it would be ok if he went ahead and took the order from the adjacent table first. OHMOG, that was a first in my whole life. What respect! Cudos to you, you couldnât have made a mistake after that introduction. The food? Very good, the garlic prawns, top shelf, The curry, creamy, spicy , very nice, but what Iâll remember, was the friendly, welcoming, experience we received. Thank you for the memory.Namaste,GalenThank you very much for your review. We hope to see you back soon!

I ate the possibly the best Thai green curry with chicken I have tried to date. $12 Served extremely hot and at the requested spice level. I think this is the first time I have ever been charged for the steamed white rice to go with the curry but it was only $1 and I was asked if I wanted it when I ordered. The Thai iced tea was good but a little small for $4. The service was mostly good The staff were all friendly and helpful when dealing with them. Only service issue was not being able to order another drink when I wanted to and a long wait to get the check. The lack of checking on me after my food arrived saved me $4. If not for those two minor things I would have rated this visit a 5.

It isn't hard to see why this restaurant is so highly rated. The food was very good, so good that you better have a reservation on a weekend night. Despite the popularity, I found the prices to be quite reasonable. As some have noted, the staff could work on their customer service. They aren't unpleasant, just very busy and don't go out of their way to try to please.

I checked out the Tripadvisor reviews to find a goos local restaurant after getting in to Seattle at dinner time. There was quite a few Thai restaurants in the area and Bai Tong Thai looked promising, so I decided to visit it. I ordered Khao Soi, a type of Thai dish I had not had yet had. The dish has crispy egg noodles, shallots, lime, pickled green mustard, sliced red onion and chicken in thin yellow curry. I enjoyed the meal, it had a light, refreshing taste. I would recommend a visit.

Mango Thai is within walking distance of the Seattle-Tacoma airport and the multiple hotels/motels in this area. The food is just exceptionally good. It is quite obvious that the vegetables and fruits are extremely fresh and of the highest quality. Moreover, the cooking and sauces are very close to perfection. As the food, the service is excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant itself is a pleasant room and noise level is minimal. Mango Thai is definitely a âgo toâ place if staying the area or even between flights. At 5:30 on a Sunday night, the restaurant was already almost full and the take out service was very busyâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦I think this illustrates the excellent reputation.
