Reviews on Cafe food in San Juan Island, Washington, United States. An island vacation on San Juan Island in…Washington? San Juan might not be a tropical retreat, but this scenic scape proudly features beaches, orca pods and one of the country’s largest lavender farms. Lime Kiln Point State Park is the perfect place for whale watching, while Pelindaba Lavender Farm will set you up with a lifetime supply of the fragrant purple plant. The bustling Friday Harbor is a jackpot of restaurants and shops, plus unique attractions like the 19-acre sculpture garden at Westcott Bay Reserve.

OMG what a cake!Found Felicitations on TA before a sailing trip in the San Juans for my wifes birthday. Ordered a cake over the phone and arranged delivery (free) to a restaurant of my choosing. She made a Fabulous cake for a reasonable price and saved me the trouble of picking it up.Thank you very much. We enjoyed it very much.

Authentic massive popovers at 11 a.m. Had a great lunch of Korean barbecue. The chef salad was amazing. This is also the most affordable eatery that we tried while on the island.

Traveling with friends we decided to stop in here for a dessert. The cheesecake was reported to be delicious. Both the chocolate and the lemon blueberry got raves. I didnât particularly like the peanut butter cookie as it seemed undercooked to me. I asked them about it and they assured me it was their normal style for that cookie. Friendly staff. Great location.

After reading the reviews I really wanted to eat here, should have realized when this place was empty and the street across the street was full we should have left. We were the only ones in there for a good while for breakfast. Slow inadequate service (found out she was new) and just average food and bad coffee. I wouldnât go out of my way to eat here again. Food was just average. Poached eggs to them mean cooked to the ends of the earth in a mould. Someone wrote in a review it was the best breakfast theyâd ever had. We laughed about that as we ate our only ok breakfast. Itâs ok but not amazing. You could find better

Rocky Bay Cafe looked promising and seems to have good reviews. The service was vague and inattentive. We received our order which was remarkably unremarkable. I like my hash browns a little crispy but they came soft and mushy. We paid and left to begin exploring the islands. Our trip was cut short by a sudden cramping in our lowered tract and spending the rest on the day and evening on the commode. We drank copious quantities of Pepto but whatever it was it wasnt slowing down and continued into the following morning.

Fresh, local and always from scratch seasonal cooking. Sandwiches on bread baked fresh daily and house-roasted meats, featuring local produce and accompaniments. Daily rotating deli case packed full with entree, salad and side selections to eat in or carr
We went for lunch. Menu somewhat varied with some âdifferentâchoices for lunch. Maybe a little too gourmet for my taste, although some of our parties sandwiches looked delicious. The clam cakes were good, but nothing special. The squash soup was good, but-nothing special. You can dine at tables indoor while gathering your meal as it is prepared and called; or you can dine in the back on a terrace area or on the front porch outside of the restaurant. It is serve yourself after you order. Various items on the menu are a little pricey for lunch. Nice ambience. Staff helpful and accommodating. Probably would return and try something else on the menu.
