I love coming to this place. My husband and I try to visit every week. It used to be Martha Lake foods but it was taken over and now has a bar with 20 beers on tap and a outside eating area. They switch out the beers very frequently so its always fun to try something new. You really should stop in a check this place out. There is a taco stand in the front of the store that has amazing food. just order and sit at the bar.

McCarthy's Bar and Grille

I found this restaurant while doing a search for Embassy Suites in Lynnwood after having driven by it frequently to and from work. This was our second visit and we have had great service both times. The first time was a little uneven because during our visit the waiter recognized someone from high school and spent the entire time chatting with them. However he still managed to be pretty attentive despite that. We went again tonight and service was much better. The food is great and we got there just before 7 where we were happy to see that they have Happy Hour from 4-7 so we were able to get two large portions of chicken strips and fries and a large platter of potato skins for a $2 discount each. We couldn't even finish our meal, the portions were so large! Our server was very attentive and friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. The hotel itself is being renovated and I hope that McCarthy's will be renovated too, because I found the booths to be a little uncomfortable with the tears and rips in the vinyl seating, but overall it was a good experience. We will continue to come here; especially due to its close proximity to the Lynnwood Park and Ride and we can easily make it here after a long day at work.

My wife and I went here to meet a friend. Good thing they had a bright, colourful sign or we would have missed the place. Our server was friendly and very attentive without being intrusive. Beer selection was a solid selection of mostly ales covering both the malty and the hoppy standards. Wish they had more in the session-beer range.Food was excellent with a good assortment of standards that were a step beyond pub food. For example, the Reuben sandwich was made from thick hand-cut slices.I don't normally get to Lynnwood, but Big E could change that.

We enjoyed our meal - the family combo for 4 adults and mac n cheese for a toddler. Was ample food and tasty. Our drinks were fun and good too. However, the staff wasn't around much, no offers of refills on water, didn't check to see how the food was. And it was my birthday, I was disappointed that when the wait staff did come by they had the bill printed and didn't offer the dessert menu. Felt very rushed to leave at that point. Even though there were empty tables. The space was crowded with tables but not with people. Not much space between tables. It was a bit uncomfortable.Accessing the restaurant was very difficult. I use a walker and the parking lot is a mess, quite uneven and bumpy. The 2 handicapped spots were full when I arrived, and even waiting in the car 30 minutes for the rest of the party they didn't free up. We were there for 90 minutes and the same 2 cars were parked in the spots. Maybe they were enjoying the bar? Not sure, but was too difficult for me to maneuver the parking lot to want to go back sadly. That and the lack of attentive service.

I ordered the Brisket sandwich. It was late and I was pretty hungry so I dove right in and realized at almost the exact moment the waitress did that she had brought me a hamburger instead. She offered to make it right, but I decided to keep the burger. It was a very good burger with slaw. I recommend the baked beans as a side.

My wife and I have gone here for a casual dinner a couple of times a month and had decent food. Our last visit was however a disaster. We ordered a Pizza and mussels and it was the worst food we have had in a long time. After waiting 1 hour and 5 min after the order was put in the mussels were chewy and shells cracked. The pizza sauce tasted like it just came out if a can, metallic taste and all! The manager comped us on the food, which was very nice, but it will be along time before we try the Rock again.Mike, thanks for sharing your honest feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that we didn't give you a rockin' experience this time. We will pass this information along to the management team.

Stopped in for a Happy Hour drink and bite. The inside is nicely set up. We settled on the house margaritas and the Poblano spinach dip with pitas and chips from the happy hour menu. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She suggested both chips and pitas because we could have more either way for free. The pitas were nice and soft not baked and crisp and went perfect with the dip. The drinks were really good. I will definitely come back for lunch or dinner some time.
