Things to do in Yakima
This is like a fast food place (order at the counter, they bring the dishes to you) but they use real eating utensils and, importantly, it is clean. The staff is very welcoming and happy and full of suggestions for those of us not familiar enough with Mexican food. The restaurant was full of families and take-out was possible. This was a great and filling meal at a very reasonable price.
This is not just another Mexican restaurant! The menu is diverse, portions large with lovely presentation. And the many flavors of margaritas are served in large beautiful glasses. Very elegant interior and food.

This is by far the best taco truck in Yakima. The street tacos are delicious. They have a variety of meats and I highly recommend the Al Pastor tacos. The Adobado is also quite good. As of the time of this writing , a plate of 3 tacos w/rice and beans is only $5.00.It's located a block north of Mel's Diner in the parking lot with the laundromat. You have to be adventurous to eat from a taco truck, but if you try this place, you won't be disappointed. Really delicious!!

There were no clean tables, the kitchen looked dirty and disorderly and the very limited menu was only in Spanish. We turned around and walked out. Maybe the food is good, but I even asked them to clean off a table... nothing happened. So we left.

First thing I noticed was the parking lot was pretty full. Drive around to the other side and there's more parking. That's a good sign, right? Good food. Small dining room, very compact but not terribly crowded. Comfortable, informal atmosphere, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is very good. I recommend the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce.

They normally have some good deals on some adult beverages as well and they are normally larger size. I had the Chicken Mole with rice and no beans. Very large portion of rice and the chicken and mole sauce was delicious...thank you. Located in the old Skippers location in Yakima on Nob Hill near the corner of 24th and Nob Hill. Open late and a great place to go for after dinner drinks.

We were visiting relatives in town and they suggested this place for the best ârealâ Mexican food in town. They were right. The food was great. The homemade tortillas make it even better. I had the taco salad with shredded chicken. The amount of chicken was generous. The fried tortilla shell Was crispy and not greasy. My husband had the burrito with shredded chicken, which was huge. Itâs definitely enough for two people to share. The service was exceptional. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Yakima.
