Usually I'm skeptical about breakfast food at a fast food place but the breakfast menu here is actually pretty good. The California Crunch Wrap has lots of flavor.

I am a big fan of Mexican food this is not my favorite place in battle ground or the area for that matter but it's a close second the food is good it's made to order so it always fresh and the employees are very pleasant lunch or dinner both are great.
Being from New Mexico and very selective about Mexican food I do say this is some of the best food around. Ricardo and his crew provide very authentic Mexican grub. I ate here three days in a row, and the quality never varied. The prices are reasonable for this area (cheap). There is a covered dining area and Mexican sodas (made with real sugar). Leave the plastic at home - this a cash only operation.

First visit was Monday at 6:30 pm. We were seated immediately in a booth and served chips and salsa, server took our drink orders right away. We ordered the carnitas street tacos and the pineapple fiesta chicken with red sauce for entrees. Service was good. The chicken was very dry, my husband didnât care for it. I didnât see any cheese on the carnitas and they werenât typical street tacos as the pico de Gallo was missing, replaced with a few rough chopped onions, old cilantro, and some wierd sauce in a cup (no tomatoes). The carnitas meat was stringy and had a slight bitter aftertaste. There was a slight bit of lettuce on the plate, more as an afterthought. The pink corn tortillas were colorful but dry. Overall, Iâd give the dish a C+. We were disappointed and probably wonât be back. Los Pepeâs in Woodland does a much better job for less money!

After a moderate food experience at a competitor, my visit to El Rancho Viejo was by a co-workers suggestion. As it turned out the food was really good. The kitchen was full of a happy staff, and the aroma was inviting. We had drinks and placed our order within 10 minutes, and hot food at the table within 15-20 minutes, although I was enjoying shoving chips and salsa down as we waited for the food!I ordered the Grande lunch special, with cheese enchilada, chicken chimichanga, and a chili rellenos. All very good! A soda order is good for one refill. Who does that now days? Definitely a pet peave of mine. The staff was pretty friendly, but not overly so. The inside missed a spring cleaning, based on dust on higher surfaces and grime/smudges and little kid finger, hand and lip marks on the windows. Otherwise it was reasonably clean. I will be back for sure.
