Enjoy oysters, grilled salmon, crab, fish & chips, brats, salads and burgers at our casual outdoor restaurant overlooking the marina. No reservations necessary. Open seasonally Memorial Day-Labor Day.
After becoming a family favorite in recent years we were very dissapointed in our recent visit. My burger was over cooked, the cheese had melted off the sides and formed a crispy chip, the onion was a tiny little heart that was only enough for one bite and the fries were cold. The crispy chichen sandwhich was no good and the fish n chips were burnt and greasy, we would have pointed out our issues if we could have gotten the server to come over (this was a slow night). Our server also knew nothing about their wine or beer selection and seemed uniterested in trying to answer our questions. The mystery to the lack of care was solved when we heard someone shouting and laughing from the porch loud enough to make multiple tables turn their head, and our server responded with "sorry thats our manager" with an eye roll. I hope this place gets back on pace, but has a ways to go to live up to their prices.Rebecca L, Thank you for your continued patronage at the Cascade Bay Grill. We've also enjoyed it's evolution over the past several years into an island favorite - which makes it that much harder to hear of your recent poor experience. That your food and service were as lacking as they were is certainly a concern, especially considering the feedback this season has largely been very positive. That said, we aim to please in EVERY situation - not just most of them - and subpar food and service is not the way to do it.We have followed up, specifically, on all points mentioned in your review and are hoping we can learn from this experience going forward. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me directly to further discuss details- we'd love nothing more than to continue to be a family favorite for you and yours and are open to hearing any way in which we can do so.Cheers,Regan VaughnFood & Beverage [email protected]

Very nice view. Nice cozy Irish bar with very good beer selection and fully-stocked wide inventory bar. And did I mention the view. Bartenders left us alone except when we needed a drink.

While vacationing with family we took the ferry from Anacortes to Orcas Island. I needed to do a boarding pass and asked if they had wi-fi. They did and gave me the password. I had a soda while doing the boarding pass and when I was done I asked what I owed and they said nothing. I took a kids menu with me so the grandkids could see if there was something for them on the menu. When I caught up with the family my wife and I and the grandkids came back and had lunch while their parents went off on their own. Food was great and we had a scenic view of the bay. Service was wonderful.

No matter how busy the place gets the food always is good. The burgers and chicken strips are awesome. If you are looking for a place with consistent quality and fun atmosphere...this is the place.

Inn at Ship Bay Restaurant offers seasonal menus that feature fresh, locally farmed products. We strive to use only sustainably harvested seafood, antibiotic and hormone free meats and poultry. All of our foods, breads, and desserts are created in-house,
What a great retreat. The Innkeeper was very helpful on guiding us on getting to the San Juan's. The Inn was GREAT!! Overlooking Ships Bay, a beautiful vista. A good base for exploring the Islands. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable.

My wife and I walked to this venue from Eastsound village for the exercise. It has a relaxed vibe and the two beers I had (IPA and a black lager) were solid.
