1950's Retro Diner in Poulsbo's Historic waterfront. Home of the Hungry Viking! Serving breakfast all day, Lunch & Dinner served after 11:00am.
Hey, this is a cafe, not a formal restaurant, but the food is GREAT, the wait staff even GREATER, and the ambiance perfect (for a cafe)... all nestled in the lovely, quaint waterside town of Poulsbo. This is always the breakfast spot when I see my son, as he lives in Poulsbo.Thank you for your review. Hope to see you again soon!

A Northwest favorite since 1960. Our 25 locally owned Elmer's Restaurants take pride in their communities and source local, farm-fresh ingredients.
This location has tried a couple of formats and finally settled on the Elmer's chain formula. It is good and consistent with the rest of the Northwest chain. Good service, comfortable seating and reasonably priced food for families. This location is as good as the other Elmers we have frequented. Good for families and travelers.Afternoon,We truly thank you for your feedback and are glad to see you've enjoyed your visits to Elmerâs. We love hearing from our Guests and we send each review directly to the restaurant management to be seen. Hope to see you again soon!Kolten LindseyOnline Media ManagerElmer's Restaurants, [email protected]

We stopped by on our way from the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry to Sequim. Food was tasty and hot, served quickly with a smile. The menu offered a selection of breakfast favorites, sandwiches, soup, and salads ( I think there were salads; I admit I wasn't looking for any calorie-conscious food). In addition, there were a couple of specials on the board. My husband had the Spanish omelet, with home fried potatoes, and a small stack of fluffy pancakes. I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, eggs over easy, cheddar cheese, and a side of fruit (grapes). Coffee was adequate and hot. There appeared to be a number of repeat local customers, as they were addressed by name when they came in the door. This restaurant doesn't have much in the way of "atmosphere", but it is reasonably clean and pleasant and we will come again. It is small, with a limited number of tables, but we were seated right away (came around 11;30am on a Saturday).

Have been coming here for many (over 30) years. Breakfast is the greatest from country fried steak to pancakes. Best french toast ever, just ask my grandkids. Sorry, the nasty review I just read upset me. I have not found it to be "dirty". It is OLD and old things don't look as good as they once did....I am old too so I know. There are a lot of regulars and always have been. It is small, you seat yourself, get a cup of very good coffee, then go from there. I love it! Sorry you didn't.
