Went on a Sunday, late morning. There was about a 30 minute wait to be seated, and few people turned away. Breakfast is served all day and lunch after 11:00. We had the diced ham and eggs, egg, has brown scramble, buckwheat pancakes that were light and fluffy, and good coffee. Smaller place than Sammamish Cafe, with friendly staff. Portions were big. Will be back again.

A great place for a lazy late weekend breakfast. Happily it was a short wait on this occasion but there are times you might wait 20-30 minutes for a table. After all these years they still produce consistently good food. Always love their home fries and biscuits with fresh raspberry jam. Great service too!

Ok, I didn't have any rootbeer, but I did have the El Camino (patty melt). The burgers were cooked just right, on toasted rye bread with a good amount of swiss cheese and sauce. The sandwich came on top of a pile of fries that were, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the in. Ask for salt as they don't salt the frys and the sandwich needed it as well. I wish I'd had room for a root beer or shake (not a float fan), but maybe next year. I sat outside, enjoying the weather and listening to songs from the 50's & 60's. Then, I walked inside and took a few pics. Fun place and good food.
