The Cafe, has been a well known breakfast place in Burien for over 50 years! It's been the Countryside Cafe for the last 5 and were working on the next 50! Breakfast and Lunch. A tasty greasy spoon with good portions, ingredients and price!

From the outside this place is not impressive, but from the long lines out the door, you know its good. They have some variety, but they also have old standards. I love their waffles, and the biscuits with strawberry jam is perfect. I also frequently get the hash which is satisfying.

After dropping a friend off at the airport I was looking for a place to eat breakfast before heading off for the day, preferable locally owned. My favorite breakfast is eggs benedict, and the online reviews looked favorable. What a lovely surprise to find a Great meal at such a bargain price. I had the Eggs Florentine. One of the best benny's I've tasted. The service was excellent and my servicer was attentive but not smothering. I was grateful for her local knowledge of attractions and really good advice on parking. I will treat myself to cafe again!

The first time we came here, the shop was closed. I understand that this can happen as it is a family restaurant. But we eventually came back a couple times right after opening in the morning. Very fresh donuts. Very tasty. Definitey recommend.
