Things to do in Renton
My son and I decided to get a bubble tea while waiting for take-out from Papaya Vietnamese Cafe. Being first timers at Sharetea, it was pretty overwhelming with so many choices! You can decide sweetness level, ice level and many toppings. Since we wanted bubble tea, we chose the strawberry ice blended with lychee jelly and without ice cream so it was dairy free, and a taro ice blended with pudding. I have never had pudding in bubble tea and could have changed it to another topping but decided to try the pudding. It is actually really good! Both bubble teas were excellent. We will definitely be back to try other teas.
While its strip mall location may deter you, the slightly upscale decor sets it apart from a typical Vietnamese/Pho restaurant, and as such, will be a pleasant surprise. Part of a local chain, this localeâs menu was quite extensive and included a few non-Vietnamese options. We went with pho, one large bowl with chicken and one small bowl with vegetables. Both had rich broths and generous portions of their respective ingredients. We will definitely return and sample more off of the menu.
This place makes the best special fried rice in town. Seriously, we drive here just to get it. The pho is great too. Their phad thai is different than in a Thai restaurant, just fyi. It's a hole in the wall, but very consistent and the folks are friendly.
This is my third time eating at this establishment. They have really tasty looking selections on their menu. So far I have only ordered the garlic chicken which is delicious, the Mongolian beef which has flavor the first time and little to none the second and third time. The fried chicken egg rolls are excellent. Didn't to much care for their version of hot and sour soup but that doesn't mean you will not like it. The waitress/waiter are courteous and quick to seat you and take your order. The inside of the place is nothing to write home about but it's clean and comfortable.I will try something different next time but I have to say I like this place and will continue to go here.
Kim Phuong is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I love their dish with rice paper, dipping into fish sauce (sorry I cannot recall the name of the dish). It comes with fresh vegetables and herbs. Serving size is large, so recommend to go with friends.

We have come here a lot over the years. The food is consistant and tasty.I got the Tom Gai soup with chicken and coconut milk. Hubby got the chicken Phad Thai ( I could have eaten it all not just a taste!) Our daughter got a Curry dish which she loved. I had the Thai iced coffee and Daughter had the other Iced coffee I think it was Vietnamese. She liked mine the best as it was not as sweet. The daily soup was very good.Good service, good food and out quickly for working lunch.

This is their 3rd store. Great, fresh food. Nice price
I have had lunch here multiple times and always leave sated and satisfied. Besides the restaurant being a little more upscale than most Vietnamese strip mall eateries, the service is top notch. Without a doubt, I will keep going back because it has the best Cha Gio that Iâve had in quite a while and the Pho is great.

Amazing Thai food here and the staff are so friendly and funny. Love their soups, noodles and red curries. Also like their crispy spring rolls and chicken satay. Went their twice this week and will definitely be returning as my #1 go to spot in WA for Thai food!

Part of a growing group of restaurants in the neighborhood of Vino at the landing.
The Papaya Café was well designed and modestly decorated. Clean and decent. At a well-located site.We were going for classic Vietnamese Pho and ordered: 1. Shrimp Noodle Rolls ($7); 2. Classic Beef Pho ( $12); and 3. Combo Pho ($15). All with a chic taste. Loved it.

This is one of those places that tries to trick you into believing it's not vegetarian--even though they tell you everywhere it is! Vietnamese food with delicious flavors....loved it.
