I've lived in Issaquah for over four years and just discovered Malarkey's. I had the house chardonnay and the fish tacos which were excellent. My husband had a draft Stella and the Saturday/Sunday special of a "Pub" steak a/k/a sirloin, baked potato, and a salad for $14.99 which was a great deal. He said the meat was delicious but tougher than he's used to since he usually gets tenderloin when we go out, but that wasn't on the menu. Next time he'll try their Flat Iron steak dinner for a buck more. Our server, Nicole was efficient and friendly, and we got out of there for less than $50, which I consider a success. Will definitely be back!

It does feel like a bit of Hawaii- and I gather they have music on Wednesday nights- so it could be an enjoyable date night-- BUT the food is just ok. The sushi was ok but not yummy- the pulled pork was disappointing and the BBQ pork appetizer was kind of dry. However, I did like my Teriyaki chicken quite a bit and would definitely recommend that dish. Still looking for the neighborhood restaurant in Issaquah that I can make my usual. ( Do like J and K there though).

This place is tucked away in a little strip mall but worth finding. We had a great meal with very friendly staff and fast service. I must admit my favorite item was the raspberry drop! Holy cow the "glass" was an ice sculpture! Our table enjoyed the pulled pork Mac and cheese, chicken tender salad, hamburgers, house made potato chips, house made donuts and rib tips. Everything was very tasty. We would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

Friends took us to their favorite hideaway and introduced us to Lexie, who obviously has a great passion for wine (and the knowledge to back it up). She offered us a few samples, made some great recommendations and took care of us all night. We intended to "graze" and ended up ordering half of the menu, including a salami & cheese plate, spaghetti & meatball, halibut, and tortellini alla panne. Raves all around. The live music was a bonus. Wish we lived in Issaquah so we could hang out here more often.

I love seafood but had not been in for a while. I came in due to Veteran's day the free meal for Veteran's they were offering. I greatly respect all businesses that recognize veterans like this. Many dishes sounded good but I ended up with the paella which was flavored and seasoned well and balanced along with being tasty. I just missed the crunch under the rice that is usually with a good paella but for free what can you say. Thank you. I had a nice draft beer and the lady who ran the bar was excellent and very customer service-oriented. I forgot her name but she had a lot of tattoos.

We stopped here to check out the happy hour, which runs until 6:00. They have a very good selection of out-of-the-norm craft beers, all at $2 off the regular price. The HH food choices were all discounted a decent amount too. We enjoyed the smoked salmon flatbread as well as the chicken wings. Our friends had the broccolini and bean dip, which were both good as well. This is a good choice for happy hour when in Issaquah.

This was the first time we ate lunch here. The service was great, but the food not so much. We ordered Sunset burgers. The meat had little flavor, the bun was doughy and compressed to a hard lump in the mouth, and the fries were way too salty. Eleven-dollar burgers should be much better than these were. Also a tip was tacked onto our bill without our knowledge. Disappointed, we will not return.

We wanted to watch the ballgame while getting something to eat-- hopefully something more than deep-fried bar food-- and try a new place. This place was great! Service was quick, friendly and courteous. Salad was robust and not just lettuce. Steak was lean and hardly any fat. Baked potato tasted baked and not steamed or nuked. Will return.

Issaquah Brewhouse brews its own small-batch beers. Our resident brewer crafts local favorites like Contraband IPA, White Frog and other unique concoctions on a 5 barrel system. Those brews are on tap alongside Rogue classics, like Hazelnut Brown Nectar a
The reviews I read had been hard on this location. My recent experience totally contradicts these reviews. I visited on this past Sunday evening and found this place to be exactly what I was looking for. A laid back, unpretentious pub with great beer, friendly and attentive service, good food and an enjoyably diverse patrons. There were countless choices for beer and they offered growler and carry out options as well. The menu options were attractive, prepared well and affordable. In addition to generous happy hours, they offer special nights for the Service Industry and Military. The new manager Abby said hello and bar tender Darlene made offered great recommendations. Both were a pleasure to be around. I'll be a regular for sure.

Probably the best pizza in Issaquah! We ordered the grilled romaine and a pepperoni pizza to share. Both very good. I also ordered a classic Old Fashioned which was good as well. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Good, bustling vibe. Issaquah needs more casual dining options like the Black Duck. Leave the kids at home (it's 21 and over I think) and plan a fun date night here. Next time I'm going to try the burgers. They looked very appetizing!
