Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Walla Walla. Wineries are beginning to rival the sweet-tasting Walla Walla onion as the hallmark of this lovely town at the foot of the Blue Mountains. In fact, the combination of excellent wineries and appealing scenery has put Walla Walla on the map as one of the country's hottest new wine-touring regions. The town's rich history, starting with the Indian tribes who first settled here followed by the early pioneers, the establishment and subsequent tragic demise of a famous mission and then a gold rush, is also a tourist draw. Fascinating museums and historic attractions bring this past to life. Music and the arts are a vital part of this culturally conscious college town, which boasts one of the oldest symphony orchestras west of the Mississippi, frequent summertime blues and jazz concerts, arts festivals and at least 15 art galleries. A revitalized downtown features restored 19th-century buildings, restaurants, galleries and wine-tasting rooms. If you're itching for outdoor fun, head east for hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the Blue Mountains or take the relatively easy Stateline Loop bike trail to Oregon and back.

Got there at 1130AM so they weren't to busy yet. By time there was 11 people standing by the door waiting for tables the hostess showed up and first served the couple that just walked thru the door rather than those of us waiting. Once seated the service was pretty good except I never was asked or got a refill on my drink. Our salads were good and a very good sized portion which seems to very from week to week depending whose cooking I guess.

I took my family there to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. He wanted prime rib but it wasn't on the menu so he ordered a hamburger. It's not fancy and the service wasn't very good. The decor is appropriate for a country town. I had a chicken salad that tasted good. Portions are large and my family members all ordered hamburgers and said they were very good. French fries were crispy.

A old style bar that offers good food. Nothing too fancy, But the burgers and chili are really good. They even offer low-carb if you want it. Two pool tables and lots of TVs tuned to sports channels. Decent selection of cold beer and a really nice menu! Even has a small outside seating area and is a short walk to downtown wine tasting

mid afternoon visit after wine tasting. Fish& chips, Brussel sprouts and chicken sandwich. All were very good. the Brussel sprouts are the best. They brew their own beer. uniquely, you can order their beers to go. They will can them right there and give you the cans to go.

Stopped here on a recommendation from a local Wine tasting room. No one in our group was disappointed.Huge Sandwiches and large portions of fries. The deep fried pickles appetizer was perfect. One person had a salad -- was enough for 2.Large selection of beer and wines!

Went for dinner at Marcy's and enjoyed their $11 Burger & a Beer Thursday Night Special. Wonderful service by Stephanie!! She was extremely attentive and friendly. She immediately brought us water and took our orders - all enjoyed their Burger, Fries & Beers!! There were 5 different burgers to choose from and assorted beers.

You will always find a warm and inviting atmosphere at the Stone Hut Bar and Grill. We're proud members of the Walla Walla Community and strive to provide an enjoyable food and drink experience. Our menu is diverse as is our customer base.
The Stone Hut has been a friendly, popular place for decades. Continues to draw the after-work crowds with specials on most nights. They continue to expand their selection of beers. I had a wonderful Belgium Kolsch (actually two!). For snacks it is bar food. Their Fish and Chips are great, as is their personal pizza and sandwiches. I have concluded that I don't care for their hamburgers, but that is a personal preference-- to me, sweet pickle chips are better than garlic dills on a burger. Their locally sourced beef is too gamey for my taste. But again, that is a personal preference.Wait staff are exceedingly friendly and efficient, although like many places, you don't get a dedicated server, but rather who ever delivers when the order is up. Can't really establish a working relationship. After all of these years. they seem to be doing just fine with a loyal following (including me!)

Hubby ordered fish and chips which were really good. Daughter ordered vegi sandwich which was huge and delicious. I got wings with 2 sauces; didn't know the carolina bbq sauce was mustardy---so gross. They kindly brought me 4 more wings with different sauce. Overall good, just a tad pricey. Bathrooms were gross. Two separate bathrooms that can be used by hens and roosters. Not fantastic to have to walk into a bathroom and put the seat down for some dude that wasn't raised right.

Red Monkey wants your food to be an experience. Itâs the perfect comfort food for a dinner with friends or some appetizers and drinks after work. Burgers, Flat Bread Pizzas, Wraps and unique appetizers are offered. We mix local flare into your food experi
Being in town for the night with a pet, a to go meal was needed. After seeing a lot of positive reviews about Red Monkey Downtown it was decided to get the food from there. My wife ordered a Hawai'ian Pizza while I had the Pittsburg BBQ. I'm not really a fan of red sauce on my 'que but this was worthwhile. It wasn't overly saucy. There was just enough to make the meat moist. The fries were seasoned nicely (and even held up reasonably in microwave the next day). The cole slaw was okay. It didn't really commit to being vinegar or mayo slaw.My wife said she felt that the ham on her pizza was just deli sliced sandwich ham. The pineapple was canned. (IMO pineapple doesn't belong there but it wasn't my order.)All in all, we'll be back as dine in customers once we're settled.

Great ambiance and comfortable place in Walla, Walls. Stopped by twice last weekend for drink and appetizers before heading out to dinner. Service was excellent and the cocktails hand crafted and made with care and excellence. Didn't sample as much of the menu as we would have liked but saw some excellent looking food coming out of the kitchen. Cheese plate was super good with an excellent chutney and variety of mostly local cheeses. Shout out to Matt who runs his bar like a pro. Will definatly be a standard for return trips for us.
