Stopped by Dave's recently for dinner with a very LARGE group (35 folks). The wait staff was awesome, the manager accommodating, and dispute being in a large group the food came out quickly. Prices ranged from $13 for a BBQ sandwich to $20 for a full on meal of meat. There is a bar area for those of you without young ones or if you do not want to wait for the dining room-which is a tad on the small side. Nice meal good family atmosphere I would go back and will next time I am in town. (Oh and the smell of the place is great if you are a fan of BBQ.)

Great menu, large portions, family friendly and comfortable seating, are just a few of the ways guests have mentioned they enjoy our restaurant. We do our best to make each guest experience a great one, it would be our pleasure to have you with us! The Te
Had the bacon burger. Done just the way I like it. Char Broiled with crispy edges. Very delicious. Fries were hot, but tasted like they had been precooked and then warmed up. Coffee was not so good. Island Girl Cocktail was fabulous. Server (Jason) was very good.

It's A Buffet Type Restaurant
I do understand that this is a Buffet but food was sub par on this day. Out of many items during our visit that they just did not ever fill. I asked a couple of times if the food was going to be refilled but they said soon and soon never came.

Service was average; waitress never checked on us after food was delivered to provide drink refills and sauces. Food was good and as expected for chain steakhouse choices. Prices seemed to be on the high side.

This restaurant has been a family favorite for years and years...the "down home" kind of food & service brings us in often. They have delicious home-made soups & desserts. While it's not a fancy place to eat, it consistently provides us with a good meal & friendly staff.

A quiet Sunday night in Union Gap and the Christmas illuminated parade was on. SeaGalley beckoned as a way to get out of the cold and snow. The service was prompt and friendly but the place was pretty quiet. None of this was was a problem but the food was disappointing. I had a prawn cocktail which was exclusively small prawns with a side of tomato sauce. Er? No. That's just prawns. The salmon and clams as a main was little better. Clams (very small shellfish) swimming in a sea of melted butter and a rather dry salmon fillet was ok but only ok. Overall the food was a disappointment and if that's the general experience then that explains why it's quiet. The Outback Steakhouse is 30 seconds away. Go there.Robert, sorry we didn't live up to your expectations. Steamer clams are a smaller clam, maybe our fried jumbo clam strips is more of what you were looking for. Anytime part of your meal is not to your liking please let your server know so it can be made right.

Showed up on a Friday about 8:00pm without reservations. Had to wait about half an hour, but they have a nice area for this and we enjoyed a glass of wine while doing so. Started with the bread plate which was well received. Cheeses, bread, olive oil & basalmic vinegar. It hit the spot. 3 out of 4 in the group ordered the prime rib, but they were out. All got the filets. They were cooked to order, and were pretty good but I like more of a char on a steak and wasnât that fond of the wood smoke flavor. The chimichurri sauce helped. The drinks, wine, and dessert were great. The thin cut fries were cold and worthless. Skip them for a baked potato. The service was pretty good. Will return when in town but might try one of their burgers or a French dip.

Carousel Restaurant adds elegance and ambiance to Yakima. Providing traditional French Cuisine and Bistro options, pairings and fine dining. We offer catering and special events as well. Reservations preferred for dining room and event availability.
A nice small boutique restaurant that I want to see succeed under its new ownership. Upon arrival we were offered one of two dining areas - the main space (with its unique black and white silent movie screen) or a separate smaller space. I never understand why restaurants do this - there were two occupied tables in each space - put everyone in one room - you get much more buzz and energy and avoid the feel of a failing restaurant. There also needs to be a little effort put into the overall visuals.... a storage space with piles of stuff visible as you walk to the bathroom, a ceiling that needs help, conference room style chairs with cheap wedding style covers... Ambiance means a lot, and a little effort could really do wonders. Now to the food and service - a very french focused menu with a reasonable wine list, but not great and not enough quality local wines. We started with the stuffed mushrooms ($10) (above average), split a wedge salad ($12) (very good) and moved onto the lamb chops - very good ($38). For drinks, the Cosmo ($12) was well balanced, and the wine (Alexandria Nicole J Syrah: $62) paired well. Service was excellent until the very end when attention faded, which is why we skipped dessert.I hope this place survives and then thrives. Certainly worth a try when in Yakima.
