Home to the longest freshwater beach in the world, Wasaga Beach is a summer tourist destination located just two hours north of Toronto. The white sandy beach stretches more than 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) on Nottawasaga Bay and welcomes more than 2 million visitors every summer. Because of its size, the beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. Wasaga Beach is also home to many recreational trails and the Nottawasaga River is good for game fishing, canoeing and boating.

I've only had breakfast there and the food was just ok. On the upside, good thick slice of ham, nice home fries and toast, and the server was happy and friendly. But, the scrambled eggs tasted bland and a little off. My wife's soft poached eggs were hard. The orange slice garnish was dried out. The restaurant is dated and in need of a clean up and has seen its glory days.

Only 4* cuz nobody is perfect.
But, Anyone that thinks Pizza Dee's overpriced is not comparing apples to apples.
Cheaper pizzas are exactly that for a reason.
Pizza at Pizza Dee's is delicious. Hands down the best in town. The amount of toppings on any of their pizzas or in their panzerotti is incredible. If you order a pepperoni, mushroom and bacon pizza, every bite has all the toppings present. Other pizza places aren't like that. That's worth an extra buck or two to me.
I have eaten almost everything on that menu at one time or another and have never been disappointed. Not once.

Was in the mood for some ice cream and dropped into Grandma’s while out for a cruise. I was surprised to see that this friendly little shop is open year round! I ended up with and amazing chocolate dipped waffle cone with a generous scoop of Tiger Tail ice cream...mmmmmm! Then purchase 6 homemade butter tarts and some chocolate oranfe swirl fudge which was amazing. We met the owner who is a super nice guy and we will be returning when that urge for something sweet hits!

Opened in 2010. Postal Code = L9Z 2C9
Pad Thai and Mango Chicken were tasty, but a bit skimpy on the meat. Chicken was flat, processed variety rather than fresh. Regular patron we were with said portions were smaller than in past. Also, you would think that a bowl of rice would be included (with Mango Chicken) without having to pay an extra $2.

Some dishes are great, others not so much. We went due to the high rating this restaurant receives on Tripadvisor. The hot bread is excellent as is the mussels appetizer and the seafood crepe dish. Good wine options were available. However, the seafood chowder has little seafood and a liquorice flavour from the Pernod added to it. If you don’t like this addition, do not order the soup. The Chicken flatbread also had a distinctive bitter flavour from the Gorgonzola cheese that was not pleasant. Unfortunately you do not know the chef’s choice of herbs or flavouring ahead of ordering. Ask the waiter about unusual additions and indicate if you do not like certain tastes, like bitter or liquorice so you can avoid that dish. Service was okay but we had to pour our own wine and water and we were never asked if we liked our meal. Even though the flat bread had been scrapped clean of toppings, we were asked if we wanted it boxed up! He was not very observant.

Frustrated with asking for burgers without buns, worried about sausages and sauces with fillers?
Go into Euro Lex and enjoy a delicious and safe meal.....the owner cooks everything from scratch and can verify the ingredients for you. She is very accommodating if you have a special dietary restriction, and will give you a custom made plate using some of the ingredients she has on hand on that day.
My hubby enjoyed a wonderful crusty roll with veal schnitzel draping over the sides, and said he could eat it on every visit without even wondering about anything else on the menu, it was so good, LOL. I had a lovely Polish sausage, with European mustard, and a cabbage roll (the filling was mostly meat and not all rice like some :-) ) with a lovely tomato sauce.
And I discovered AMERICANO Coffee....which was rich and flavourful! Can't wait to have it again.....
There is also a little grocery area, with some unique and tempting goodies, and a deli selection with very good prices.
This discovery will be our new 'lunch date' venue this winter...so glad we stopped in, on that rainy, cool day. We enjoyed the sunshiny mood in the Euro Lex and left smiling...

I am not particularly picky with my food but the breakfast here is forgettable.
Pancakes were limp, not fluffy, and tasteless even with jam (a feat, no doubt).
Fries were over fried.
Even the eggs, sunny side up, were burnt at the edges.
No.
Servce was friendly but slow..................
