Indian food seems to vary greatly from country to country and so you can be very disappointed with some experiences. We were having withdrawal symptoms from not having an Indian since leaving Ireland 3 week earlier and so headed off to seek out a good hot curry. We found Mr Sigh's which turned out to be an excellent choice. We had a variety of his curries both vegetable and beef and chicken and stuffed our faces to capacity! Tasty, spicy dishes not too fiery hot and at reasonable to mid range prices. Well done Mr Singh -- We'll be back!!

I still love Shamiana. The palak paneer is fabulous, butter chicken isn't too sickly, the bread is good, prices reasonable. Tick. Tick. Tick. The only issue I had with a recent delivery is that the driver couldn't find us and didn't ring to get directions. Just a tip for all drivers - if you can't find the address, ring the customer and they can help you find them!

We were served by two willing but sadly inexperienced waiters who were difficult to understand and who did not take the orders properly. Mixed entrée for 4 involving dips / chutney supplied barely enough papadums for one and when extra were requested, these were charged on the bill. Stingy.Meals were good and presented nicely.Conversation was very difficult as the room is a concrete box with few soft wall decorations to reduce the noise of other patrons.

We were the only ones there for lunch and ordered tandoori lamb cutlets. They did not taste like they were freshly cooked in the Tandoor but rather boiled and then put in tandoor to warm. Very strange taste. The other food and service were fine but we thought most of it had been pre cooked and just reheated. None of it tasted fresh!!Oh Oh!

Siri from the outside seems like a family run small Indian Restaurant. We were a party of 4.From the outset the owner/manager stated that his waiting staff were both new and he will be guiding them.No worries. The entrees and mains were full flavoured and full of the meats we requested. The staff were so friendly it was becoming embarrassing.I could not get enough of the Vindaloo..... of note,,,, it is a bit of a military obstacle course to get to the Loo'sall in all, a lovely night, 4x adults very full of Indian by way of 2x entress, Breads, Pappadams, 2x main courses and 3x alcoholic drinks with change from $150.A lovely little restaurant

we are bunch of misfits experimenting the indian cuisine. Well start with basic westernised menu and move on to fusion inspired by Japanese & Korean cuisine. Also planning on starting a short & spicy lunch menu for Dee Why Villagers..Please support us and

Welcome to the indian joint... "for the villagers ...by the villagers..." ...a bunch of misfits trying to cook up the desi/pendu (villagi) style food...we serve what we love to eat... ...pretty much always loose on time factor but working very hard on qua
Came on a Sunday night and have never experienced Indian food as good as this! My father is somewhat hard to please when it comes to curry and Iâve never seen him enjoy Indian food quite so much! Customer service was amazing, we always had papadums on the table and our glasses were always full! The owner welcomed us in and waved us out the door with a smile on his face. Our food came out in record time and it tasted even better than it smelled!A booking is essential if youâre coming on a weekend, the atmosphere is akin to the bustling streets of Mumbai!Amazing and would definitely come again!
