We visited this restaurant yesterday. We ordered a fish soup, sour rye soup and dumplings filled with duck.We have to admit, that the food was excellent. Especially dumplings were the best which we've ever eaten in our lives. We would have given five stars, but there is a small problem with the delivery time.We came at 4p.m. A time outside lunch hours. The waitress told us at the beginning, that we might wait up to 1 hour for a main course, that's why we've decided for a soup's starter (we assumed that a soup will be delivered within a few minutes). Soups came after 40 minutes, and a main courses before my wife had finished her soup.If you really try to taste a delicious meal, then you can go there for 100%, but you might wait a while for your meals. Maybe we came at a wrong period of a day, but after reading a previous review, it's not the case.I hope that the restaurant's manager will take our comments into consideration, so that the restaurant could always get 5 stars (we cross our fingers).

Place has a nice view if you decide to sit outside and it doesn't look that bad inside either. I would normally expect a bit better system from self serving place, use of electronic tokens would be more efficient then "shouting system". When its busy awaiting time is terrible. Food was tasty, unfortunately one of the dishes came undone inside and additional awaiting time was just unbearable.

We were sailing with friends on the Masurian lakes and by pure chance docked at the marina of "Hotel Ognisty ptak " in Ogonki . Maybe the first week of September is already off season but there were only few people around. The place looked beautiful and tranquil so we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant. We had Masurian style fish soup; potato pancakes with sunflower a pumpkin seeds, Russian dumplings (Pierogi ruskie) and a meringue apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. Everything was delicious! Add a view of blue lake ,green trees and lawns, light breeze and sunny (but not hot) day and you have a beautiful lazy afternoon !

We ordered fish soup and "chÅodnik" soup that were really nice. Unfortunately main courses weren't that good (no drama either), hence only 3 stars. I would recommend this place only if you are after a quick lunch and only if you are after soup or some fish dish. Fish appeared to be very fresh and according to my wife also tasty.
