Super friendly staff, good local food specials, and yummy desserts! As Northerners we love to find places that serve local favorites- salmon croquettes, green fried tomato sandwich with pimento cheese spread!
We are on the road traveling, so we could not buy a whole pie, but they sure did look good!

We had warm caramel cake and red velvet cake with coffee for an afternoon snack. What a great find. Visiting the town Warm Springs and happened into this great little bakery. They now serve lunch but we were just looking for a quick snack. Wow this was wonderful.

The Bulloch House features a Southern buffet After the Bulloch House burned down June of 2015 the Restaurant re-open in December of 2015 in the Town center of Warm Springs. The buffet main features are fried chicken & fried green tomatoes. There's also a limited menu that can be ordered separately.
Tucked in this little out of the way city, is a delicious truly Southern buffet! From fried chicken to collard greens, it all tasted just like Grandma made! It was a spectacular trip back in time! Not to be missed if you are to get the flavor of the true South....complete with the best part of the South.....Southern Manners!!!!!

Meriwether Steak Company continues to be one of our favorite dining destinations in the Meriwether County area. We find the service excellent and the steaks cooked to perfection. If you want quieter seating, don't choose the bar area. Birthday parties with small children are common, for that reason reservations are suggested and ask to be seated in the front dining room.
The filet mignon steak is by far the best steak in town.

My passion is Oriental food; I have had it all over the world, including in the countries of origin. Thai cuisine is very exacting on the chef; there are layers of flavor that must be created in order lest the dish fall flat. Much to my great delight, this is definitely NOT the case with the Thai House. After our dinner, we decided to return for lunch the following day--yes, it is definitely that good! This is authentic Thai food, and the chef does not betray her heritage by pandering to American tastes--BRAVA!!! And yes, as mentioned in other reviews, owner, waitress and chef are one and the same. I don't know what we enjoyed more--the food or talking with the chef and her husband! Please heed the other reviews--there is a longer-than-normal wait for the food as it is prepared to order. However, your patience will be amply rewarded! And if the owner/chef makes a suggestion of an ingredient(s) other than you ordered--LISTEN TO HER! If you are looking for the "real deal," this tiny four-table restaurant will definitely not disappoint!

No frills BBQ spot in the center of Warm Springs. Food is solid and service is friendly. There are some tables outside and also some indoor tables if it gets too hot! Prices reasonable. Some days you might find Mac there overseeing the operation and chatting to the customers. Not open on Sundays (like most places in this town).

We stayed at F.D. Roosevelt State Park and wanted something "different" for dinner. I ran to Fox's Pizza and discovered "different." It is a mom and pop type restaurant and the locals were everywhere. The wait time for the pizza was about 25 minutes but the kids did not seem to mind because they had video games - arcade kind - which amazed them. I purchased two pizzas with different toppings and ordered wings. The meal was good and the service friendly. I will say, the pizza was much LARGER than I expected and because we got there during their half price hour, our bill was CHEAP. I would recommend grabbing some pizza from Fox's, especially, if you order during their half price hour. Worth it!
