Very good location. Near historical sites. Behind Longshan temple, 3 minute walk to Bopilao Historical Block, 15mins to Tianhou Temple and 5mins to MTR station. The room is clean as you see in the photos. For sleep & go this hotel is a good option. The only cons is that they have no elevator so if your room is at 4th floor just like us you will endure the stair. But overall it's a thumbs up!

I had a lovely stay recently. The hotel was very clean and the room very cosy with tea and coffee making facilities. I found the staff very friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the subway. The free cookies were a nice treat.

Top Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Ximending Inhouse Hotel Heritage greets nostalgic travelers with modern comforts, attentive service, and a touch of vintage charm. Located in the area known as Ximending, it’s in the heart of one of the oldest pedestrian districts. You’re steps away from exploring a mix of quirky shops, iconic restaurants, or your choice of historical and cultural sights. Inhouse hotel Heritage was designed to celebrate the cultural importance of the Ximending district in the story of today’s Taipei. As you look around, you’ll notice fine marble, hard wood furniture, and plated glass are the foundation around which all of our spaces are designed. The lobby features intricate marble flooring from India, hand-crafted mahogany furniture and original photography from mid 20th century Taipei. The guest rooms offer a classic charm with one-of-a-kind furniture pieces complemented by the sinuous lines and vibrant colors of SMEG retro appliances. And when it comes to service, we’re here for you. We’ll greet you with a smile. Attend to your needs with unmatched attention to detail and always strive to make you feel at home. Don’t ever hesitate to ask for anything.
We liked it. We'll go back, but ask for a room with a view. It was a huge room and a huge bed, but a bit claustrophobic with no real natural light penetration. We didn't do the restaurant (who goes to Ximendeng to eat in a hotel?) but the menu looked good. Great huge bathtub which I wish we had made time to use. Shower is a bit of tight squeeze to get yourself in and then close the door, but that doesn't detract from the state of the art buttons and knobs. Front desk was super welcoming and helpful (it was our anniversary and they left us a slice of cheesecake and a card). Great location, minutes from Ximen station, which itself is one stop from Taipei Main Station.

There’s nothing special about this hotel. The housekeeping staff is very rude to guests. The breakfast is not good. Room is dirty. If you’re a foreigner, book somewhere else. If you book via Agoda, make sure that they won’t give you the PWD room.

The staff was rude in answering my questions through email. I just canceled my reservation with them as I do not want to go there anymore. Why would I go there when they are already rude through email?

I stayed in Click Hotel located at Ximending with my family. It took 15 minutes to find since we walked from the airport, I usually would have just taken a cab but checking google maps it was relatively near and we wanted to look around the neighborhood. The hotel is located inside an old building so at first, we thought we were in the wrong location but there was the hotel’s signage. Before entering you are greeted by a well-lit alleyway with many small stalls that leads you to the elevator entrance. We were expecting a dodgy hotel experience but we were proven wrong when we arrived at the floor and were greeted by their amazing staff and fresh surroundings. We checked in rather early so they offered to take our luggage and asked if we wanted to grab some complimentary drinks from the refrigerator before we head out. The hotel is located in the central shopping so it was convenient to shop around and dine. To add, the train station was only 10 minutes away so it is a good location. After we were allowed to check-in and go inside our rooms we were surprised by how large the room and beds were. The restroom though a bit small was clean and provided the proper amenities (love how the shower gel and shampoo are in a dispenser so it would be sustainable). Was surprised by the open clothing hanger but it made the place spacious and allowed an area to dry out wet towels. Every morning before leaving for our trip we were greeted by their staff with a kind smile which I thought was a nice way to start the day. However, the elevator is quite a safety hazard because while going in, it suddenly shut so fast in front of me but thankfully my luggage stopped the doors. I read some past comments who had the same issue so I think the management can check that out and fix it. But other than that staying here for 4 days was a pleasant experience definitely value for money, I would recommend this place to my friends and family who intend to travel to Taipei, Taiwan looking for a hotel with a good location, friendly staff, proper amenities, and cleanliness.

My daughter and I arrived to this place late on the night of June 30, 2019 from Taichung. We were so tired from almost 3-hour bus ride from Taichung that what we wanted is a good night’s sleep. Our taxi dropped us off to the address we gave him. But, we couldn’t find the hotel. We asked a local and he guided us to the opposite side of the same building where our taxi dropped us. The hotel itself is in the 9th floor. Our check-in was smooth. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable to sleep. In the midst of our sleep, maybe an hour after midnight, I was awakened by a continuous ringing of an alarm and a loud pounding of our hotel door. When I opened it, a hotel staff informed us that we have to go out for there’s a fire going on, he told us to bring our key card. I saw smoke in the hallway. I immediately grabbed my bag containing my wallet, passport and put in my cell phones, closed the door and followed the hotel staff where we follow the line of several guests going up that looks like an emergency stairs. The smoke reached us and the hotel staff gave us wet towels. That moment I felt awed to the service of that hotel staff to the guests. Indeed, he knew what to do, in case like this. We quietly climbed the stairs until we reached the roof top. I felt a temporary relief that we were out and breath a cool air but it was not for long, because the fire smoke was catching us at the rooftop and I fear that we might get suffocated from smoke. For several minutes we waited silently, then we were led to cross to the next building where the elevator is functioning. Some other hotel guests were able to bring with them their luggages but some, like us, were in our sleepwear and hotel slippers. At the street, we waited and watched the fire fighters did their heroic job. We then followed a hotel crew that led us to another hotel where we waited to be checked-in to another hotel available and took our rest. We then found out that the fire broke out from the 7th floor of the building’s residential areas. It was midday when we got information that we can now get our things from the hotel by climbing the stairs until the 9th floor for it has no electricity in the building. But upon reaching 9th floor, the hotel’s electricity is functional. The hotel housekeepers were busy cleaning the already vacated rooms. We opened our room, packed our things and went down by stairs again, still wet from the waters of the firefighters. The experience made me realized to be always ready and calm to whatever circumstances that we might encounter whether travelling or otherwise.

We just stay at this hotel. So convenient as located right in the middle of Ximending shopping. Room is a bit small but value for money. You don’t stay in the room as you will be spending time outside. Best hotel to stay at Ximending
