A Certificate of Excellence winner, The Country Kitchen carvery offers a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes. For starters, help yourself from the salad bar or home-made soup, then there is always a variety of roast joints, fish dishes, and casserol
Sunday 13 October 19, my husband and I took a very special lady Wendy out to Sunday lunch at The Country Kitchen Carvery Restaurant at Moor Hall Hotel. We arrived to our pre-booked table which was laid out very nice with silver tableware and shiny glasses and very comfortable seats. The young waitress and waiters Tia, Adam and Toby were amazing, very helpful to this lady and were very courteous and polite and very aware of the needs of elderly persons, such as my very special friend, they really made her day special. Their care was exemplary and they deserved recognition for this.My husband and Wendy had the vegetable soup with a fresh baked bread roll and butter for their starters, followed by the roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast and new potatoes with a nice selection of vegetables, gravy and of course the horseradish sauce and mustard for their main course. My husband's dessert was a slice of chocolate tart with pouring cream. Wendy had the strawberry mousse for dessert, which she said was delicious.I, myself had the hors dâoeuvres salad bar for my starter, followed by roast turkey, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and a nice selection of vegetables, gravy and of course the cranberry sauce for my main course. My sweet was the raspberry mousse cheesecake with pouring cream, which was lovely and light and the perfect finish to my meal.Afterwards, Adam brought us coffee's in the lounge, where we sat relaxing until it was time to take Wendy home. Wendy said she had a really lovely day at Moor Hall Hotel. The food and service were excellent. Special Thanks to Tia, Toby and Adam, who went above and beyond, not to mention a big Thank You To All The Staff Who Made this Sunday Lunch So Special. If you want the perfect place to hold a celebration or even just come to lunch, then this is the place to come, the catering and hospitality are first class.Thank you every so much for your wonderfully descriptive review Carol. I am delighted with your feedback and so pleased that you chose Moor Hall to visit with your dear friend, and that you all enjoyed your dining experience.I have passed your great feedback to Tia, Adam and Troy with reward. They are all over the moon they helped make your visit so memorable, and that Wendy had a wonderful time.We really do appreciate your recommendation, and do hope you will visit us again soon.
