A fine example of the hungry horse chain, located next to the light cinema with plenty of private parking available . We serve a variety of meals and desserts to a high standard, with excellent service. Great for large parties as well as small. Coming soo
We were early to watch âjokerâ so we thought weâd have a pint in here instead of waiting, I wish weâd of just waited, my wife had a large glass of dry white, she liked it, but you could write âwhite wineâ on a bottle of ammonia and sheâd drink it, I had a pint of Stella Artois, letâs just say this, the staff were nice people, but I didnât go to speak to staff , the beer is the worst Iâve tried for a long time, donât bother!.I'm sorry we've not been able to meet your expectations on this occasions, but please do give us a try again as this is not our usual standard

Decor great, food ok, but one staff - said he was the manager- spoils it. Rude from the start, slow service ( 1 hour wait for starter despite pre-ordering ), then complains when you havenât left your table within two hours. Heard him complaining about a 90 year old bloke on the next table, for taking too long to walk to his table and getting in the way. Would not go back here if they gave me £1,000 and food for free. Really is that bad.

Welcome to the Toby Carvery Walsall Broadway. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings â including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all th
Nice enough, although the beef was over cooked for my liking, and fatty.. brought most of it home for the dog.. veg and gravy nice. And a nice pudding, Lisasedgwick, thank you for leaving us feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not a more positive one. Beef is becoming a re-occurring issue across Toby sites and there are developments underway to sort this across the brand. Thanks for the feedback, it really does go a long way in helping us improve.

The food here was just lovely, two of my friends had great roasts, I had a prawn pasta dish and my boyfriend had the fish and chips - we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The desserts were also really enjoyable. Our waitress was extremely accommodating and really made our time here so lovely. We will definitely be returning very soon.Beckscook, thank you for your kind words and this wonderful review!

Located close to Walsall Arboretum & Marstons Brewery, the Dilke Arms is named after the renowned Dilke family, whose warm and welcoming approach lives on through the team at the restaurant. Many of our team members have worked here since the day we opene
Felt totally unwelcome from start to finish. Food was fine, some staff were pleasant however the manager was not. We waited 5 minutes at an empty bar before being acknowledged, sat down with our drinks and then was asked to move because âthis table is reservedâ. Whereâs the sign I asked... â oh there isnât one, this table is taken by the same people every week and theyâre due here in 10 minutesâ.Needless to say we wonât ever be regulars in there after that.

Shame the drink quality doesnât match that of the food quality.Wish they would branch out & change the real ales to something worth drinking instead of the normal pub-co options, which are nothing special.Another new menu in here from my last visit to eat.The choices are lovely, as are the milkshakes too. Be aware food wait can be an hour, so allow time in your visit.

We are a small, family run business established a few years ago. We offer good quality, freshly prepared, home cooked food in an industry which is now dominated by âchainâ offers. We do not have any âbought inâ dishes on our menu. We cook and prepare all
A party of 10 for lunch was arranged.Various lunch meals were ordered and sweets. All persons said they enjoyed the food .The staff were attentive. All the meals were served together and in a reasonabletime scale. The setting was as it is , a Pub and the tables and chairs were a mixed collection of types and sizes. However it did not detract from the overall experience.

Nice to see bar staff passionate about their job and seem to have the appreciation of real ales as an hobby. At this pub you may be encouraged to try before you buy! I tried four in total and settled on three: Black Country Ales Pig on the Wall, Kelham Island Pint Break and a gluten free Shiny Affinity. I enjoyed a good sized pork pie for £1.50 to accompany my three ales.A little bit of nostalgia on the walls and traditional wooden features behind the bar. Clean bathroom. Will definitely be returningThank you very much for your lovely review. We appreciate it and hope to serve you again very soon.
