We always eat here. The buffet is really good with the chicken the best. Also we had the stuffed pepper casserole which really hit the spot. Highly recommend.

"where the locals eat"
Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant still serves a 75¢ cup of coffee and is one of the oldest established businesses in Berlin, Ohio.

The restaurant is family-owned and has been in business since 1938. Our Amish cooks do a great job making home-style food you are sure to enjoy! We serve daily specials plus a large variety of homemade pies. Closed Sunday.
This is my kind of restaurant! We were visiting the Amish-Mennonite area of Ohio, and were looking for a good breakfast. We found Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant, right on Main Street in Berlin, Ohio.
We were not looking for a "posh" establishment, we wanted a restaurant that had good food, reasonably priced, and with a warm atmosphere. Boyd and Wurthmann's was just such a place.
Holmes County, Ohio, is a wonderful area for a bit of rest and peace. I would say it displays a great balance between efficiency and friendliness. And so ... Boyd and Wurthmann Restaurant is that kind of establishment. As you enter, there is a buzz of conversation taking place. It's obvious that this restaurant caters to local residents, but it also welcomes outsiders, to that warm, home town, "feel."
They were open at 5:30 AM, the day we joined for breakfast, and they serve breakfast until 10:30 AM. There was a line of customers coming in until the time we left, which was about 9:00 AM. The food was delicious, and it was very reasonably priced. My wife and I paid $10.50 for both our meals, (one mention ... they only take cash, no credit.)
They serve other meals, beside breakfast, and they have delicious looking pies for sale, as well.
Remember that place, in your home town, where everyone enjoyed being? Where people talked family, enjoyed food together, went out full, without spending too much ... well that is my description of Boyd & Wurthmann.

Farm to fork: it's how we roll. At Park Street, there's no doubt in our minds that the best food starts with the best ingredients, and that means fresh from the farm and locally grown whenever possible. Not only are we absolutely passionate about the quality of our food and our relationships with the people who grow it, we're also proud to be able to help strengthen our local economy with every pizza we make. Carry-out/Dine-in/Delivery available.
I'm from PA and was visiting a friend in OH when we stopped in for dinner. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had; a little reminiscent of Mellow Mushroom. The staff were all extremely pleasant, and i loved the modern rustic décor! Highly recommended if you happen to be in the area!

They have the best iced raisin bread and a bread called garden bread. The doughnuts are huge and always fresh. Kind of off the beaten path but definitely worth looking up

We stopped in here twice for their bakery and everything we sampled was EXCELLENT. Their donuts were the best of any bakery we tried in Berlin, Millersburg, or Sugar Creek. Great cookies and pies.
They have a limited lunch and breakfast menu but the food is OUTSTANDING. The waitress told us everything they served was fresh and handmade on site.
I had a large breakfast one morning with fried eggs, home fries, sourdough toast, homemade strawberry jam. It was all cooked perfecting. My wife had authentic Amish Baked Oatmeal, with fresh fruit. Wonderful. Great coffee as well to go with a meal or fresh baked goods.
This little place is not impressive to look at but the food, and the service is outstanding. I will eat here again on our next visit.

Everyone in our party tried different foods. Our selections included meatloaf, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and chicken salad. Everyone was pleased. However, the vegetables might have been the best part of the meal. We were there on a Saturday evening, and local families parked their buggies and came in to eat. Fresh bread and homemade strawberry jam start every meal.

My uncle and I went here for lunch. He’s from out of state, but comes 2-3 times a year to visit. So we went here instead of the Holmes County staples or fast food. The stacker bar is really good, but we opted for sandwiches, fries and onion rings. We were both well pleased with our choices.

We were told by locals this was a good place to eat. We had eaten there about 20 years ago and food was good. We decided to eat here as it was our 36th wedding anniversary and we went to Austria for our honeymoon so wanted Austrian food to celebrate. Our meal was a disappointment. Other reviews said portions were large but ours was not. We had Jager schnitzel that was just deep fried, not pan seared like we had in Austria. The mushroom gravy looked like it was day old at least and warmed up. It was very salty and I am a heavy salt eater. It would not have been edible for someone who is not use to salt. There was no gravy for the spaetzle so I asked for just a little for it. I was charged $1.99 for it! Normally it is served with enough gravy for both the meat and spaetzle. The German potato salad was not very flavorful. The pretzel sticks they serve while you wait were tasty. The cost for what you received was high $42+ for two meals, no drink or dessert. We will not return nor would we recommend it.

I stopped here at a friend's recommendation just to check it out. Lots of good bakery choices. The apple cider slushy was really good.

The best coffee drinks. The salted caramel latte was like a huge dessert. Both the grilled cheese and Cuban were very tasty. The baked potato soup was perfect on a cold day- very rich and creamy. They was a bit of a wait even at 1, but it opened up by 130. Parking a bit tight, but there is a lot across the street. I would avoid prime lunch time, as the enclosed patio waiting area was a bit chilly.
