Had lunch there today, our first visit. The food (Ginger chicken for me and Duck Basilique Piquant for my wife), was very good. Clean pleasant flavours, good tender meat, plenty of vegetables, and good rice. The restaurant was untidy, didn't look properly finished, and lacked ambiance. The portions were a good size and the combination of quality and portion size made it very good value for money. We wouldn't rush back, but if hungry and passing by might well stop in again sometime. We enjoyed our lunch. With some extra care to the way the place looked this could easily become a "Very Good" rating.

The offer of Thai restaurants is quite large in Waver. The first time we came across Minithai was a year ago when they opened up. First the layout... exactly what we experienced on our honeymoon trip in Thailand... The food is of excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Two Thai ladies cook behind the counter in an open kitchen. Very pleasant. Really as it is in Thailand. This is where we go when my wife and I have cravings for Thai food or nostalgia of our honeymoon...

Tried Chang Thai for the first time last night, and we were not disappointed. It was quite noisy outside, being so close to E411, but inside it was lovely. The three of us shared one mixed starter, which was okay, the nems were not great, but the satay was super, and the accompanying sauces were excellent. Then we had a duck green curry, a lamb red curry and a shrimp noodle dish. All were excellent. The house red was a nice surprise, very pleasant and attractively priced. The water was priced too high at 7.50 for a large bottle, but overall this was a very good meal and represented good value for money. The staff were very pleasant too. We will return for sure!

Surprising to see there hasn't been a single review in the 3 months since this restaurant opened, even though it seems to get quite a few customers.Overall, satisfied with the food - can only judge the sushis and dessert so far. Reasonably priced too for sushi, especially in the case of "mixes" rather than individual pieces.Very pro-active and friendly service. Also good to see a few typical oriental desserts (e.g. red bean ice, sesam ice) on the menu, something which is often lacking in Japanese restaurants.Another plus is the good coffee (again, more often than not a weak point in several Japanese restaurants), accompanied by a little chocolate cake. The chocolate eggs with the bill were equally a nice touch.Overall very satisfied, will return here when I'm in the neighbourhood.

I ate here twice and it's the best sushi in town for quality and price. The restaurant have a problem: the service. There are only one waitress who attend the clients, clean the tables, serve the food and prepare the boxes for the take away. All this only one person. The food is good, but they have some makis and california roll that the rice is like too boiled.

We went for a friday night dinner, had reserved a table (fortunately, the restaurant is small); we had korean ravioli and pajeon fruits de mer for starters, nice and tasty; for mains we opted for a typical korean dish we had heard of but not yet tasted, bi bim bap. We really liked it! Real lovely warm comfort food! House wine was good, no frills, service was absolutely nice. Good value for money. Only remark we had was that it could be a bit cleaner / maybe fresh up the interior. Would recommend and come back however!

This resto does not look appealing from outside because do small. But the owner is in the kitchen and is a real artist. We ate scallops which were amazing and afterwards duck breast. As a desert chocolate nems... amazing!

We had a quick dinner here between two reservations. There are only three tables as this place is mainly a traiteur-take away joint. We really enjoyed the food. It was very tasteful with fresh recognisable ingredients. The place is extremely clean and the people are particularly polite and friendly. We saw a young Thai lady move around in the kitchen. We wish we lived closer so as to be able to come here sooner.
