nice hotel
Reviewed By JFEARNIf you are expecting a fancy hotel this is pretty much what you pay for. the rooms are old and the furnishings the same but that is what you get in a small town in Germany. my only dissapointment really was the internet. They really have no usable internet connection so if you need to connect you are out of luck the connection they have is so slow and keeps cutting out. the breakfast was nice.

Cozy and comfortable
Reviewed By VAPFA colleague and I stayed here on a business trip to the nearby area. We managed to get by with very little German, though you may need a translation app to read some of the documentation in the room. The rooms are comfortable and kept very clean. Personally, I would have preferred to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but I am not sure if this is the norm or not. Breakfast is fresh each morning with choices of meats, cheeses, breads etc that you would expect from a continental B&B. I'm sure you could order specially made things like scrambled eggs, but we didn't find the need. The hotel also has an evening restaurant with some rather superb dishes to try. it's not exactly cheap, topping out at nearly 20 euros but there are some more reasonably choices. My only gripe was the unreliable WiFi. I could nearly always received a signal, but I would frequently lose connection. There's not much to do in town, especially in the cold and dark, so more robust WiFi would be good. I do hope our next visit doesn't coincide with any carnival celebrations though

Reviewed By Alexander HNetter freundlicher Empfang, die Zimmer waren gepflegt, sauber und gemütlich einzig das Bett war etwas abgerockt aber für das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war okay es gab Eier, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse etwas Gemüse, O´saft und Kaffee alles Ausreichend um gut in den Tag zu starten.

Poor infrastructure
Reviewed By 320ozcanmWent there without expecting much knowing a remote quiet location close to Walldurn. Standards in the rooms are old fashioned, not a disaster but with some defects like dangling cables. Most importantly the Wi-Fi almost doesn’t work. Staff doesn’t share the password for the other network only hotel uses. The free network signal is super weak and drops chronically. When raised this issue, I was asked to go to the corridor and reset the router myself, which I have done and it relatively got better but it was a very funny standard of service.

Always Amazing staff but not good beds
Reviewed By tlwshepherdThe only down side to this hotel is the beds and they just aren’t comfortable at all which is really important to me on business along with a decent restaurant Very good chef and as I’m vegetarian and the menu is mainly meat made me an omelette instead and that was lovely Great staff just a little sad about beds and the pillows are not comfy.
