Awesome place to stay

Very friendly welcome and shown to,our apartment which was huge… a one bedroom apartment with Murphy bed (pulls out from the wall).. this apartment had everything very well equipped .. a huge walk in tiled shower beautiful fittings it was just beautiful we were two ladies travelling and just loved this place. An amazing heated pool with awesome views across the road to the lake didn’t use the spa but definitely will next time!! A beautiful elevated spot to have a wine in the evening with the resident cat who joined us. Thank you to everyone from the management to the housekeepers a very friendly place to stay.

Reviewed By Kej5A lovely apartment, well laid out with quality fittings. The kitchen was excellent with a large range of equipment and having a washing machine and dryer made life so much easier than finding a laundromat. Great views and good outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the sunsets.

Reviewed By flossy009I arrived Whitianga without booking any accomadtion and after driving around the area for a moment decided to stop in here and find out if they had any rooms avaliable. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman at reception and given an upstairs apartment for the evening. The room was very clean and the view was awesome. Waterfront Apartments will definately be my place to stay for business trips for sure, thank you for the hassle free and lovely place to stay and see you next month

Very poor- would recommend checking your room prior to paying.
Reviewed By Sammy2416We were not able to stay as only 1 of the 2 beds were made up- there were 3 of us. We booked in prior to the office closing and received a confirmation email from reception with key details and telling us to enjoy our stay. On arrival we went to the restaurant, picked up our key and on opening the door to the room were met by a very musty smell. As the room had not been prepared for us we had no choice but to return the key. We just managed to catch restaurant staff as they drove away. We then had to book other accomodation 20 mins away, not easy to organise at 9.30pm but at least other Turangi hosts are keen to look after their guests. The reception staff have since texted to say that their 'after hours service' needs working on but as the room had not been prepared for us it really didn't make any difference whether we arrived prior to the reception closing or after? Were they going to make the bed and put towels etc out and air the room while we stood waiting? We would recommend to other guests to check their rooms before paying as otherwise you may end up out of pocket and without a bed for the night, with no staff left to put things right...

SO BAD we had to LEAVE at 3am
Reviewed By Katrina MThere was a structural issue with the room which made the wind absolutely HOWL through the room to a volume that made it absolutely impossible to sleep. It was a bit of a windy night but not gale force or anything. We tried to call reception but the phone in the room did not work. We called the number on our cell phone and the answer phone sad reception was closed and to leave a message. We had no choice by to leave at 3am by Uber and stay in another place. We contacted the hotel and all they could say is that we didn't inform them. When clearly there was no way to. There was no one manning the reception either. We tried 3 methods to contact them! They were just wanting to blame us for everything even when I noted that the consumer guarantees act states that anything you pay for must be fit for purpose, the room was not fit to sleep in! They couldnt care less and kept trying to blame us for not contacting them at 3am, even though we told all the things we did to try to contact them. I don't know who owns this hotel or company, but having worked in management, I would be disgusted to see how this was handled by the staff. We gave them ample time and chance to put things right. They never returned our call as promised the following day either. Hotel room NOT FIT TO STAY IN and customer service an absolute disgrace. I hope that no tourist stays there as this would put them off NZ hospitality. The company should be ashamed!

Went over and beyond to help me out of my own booking whoopsie, gave us great brunch/dining recommendations and the place was clean, quiet and cosy....not to mention the fantastic location! Cannot fault and would not want to. Thanks guys! Will be back!

Ocean Breeze is an upmarket, boutique property offering self contained apartments. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and lounge room with sky television, dvd and cd player and Wi-Fi access. Spacious separate bedrooms and bathrooms each with a bath and a shower. Situated just 200m from the beautiful iconic Pauanui surf beach it is also a pleasant short stroll to the restful harbour. Pauanui is also just a short drive to the popular Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach at Hahei. Do as little or as much as you choose. Ocean Breeze is 'Beachside Bliss'.

Reviewed By ZanelBA lovely place to stay at. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The hosts are lovely, friendly people. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. Wish we stayed longer to make use of the pool and spa, as well as the private bbq on each apartment's patio. Highly recommend Ocean Breeze Resort even if it's just for one night. Everything is nearby, the supermarket, the beach and if you're into golf, Lakes Resort Golf course is a hidden gem in Pauanui. The only downfall was dinner at The Local, we weren't impressed. Should have used the bbq at the apartment :)

A lovely stay
Reviewed By Gareth MA lovely motel. Spotlessly clean room. Lovely linen, comfortable bed. TV and air conditioning in room. Nice pool to cool off too. Helpful and polite staff. I stayed one night as part of a team bein trained in Karapiro. Cambridge is a nice town with plenty of choices for shopping and leisure.

Moved to Raglan by barge in 1874 it is one of Raglan's original homes. The cottage sleeps up to five, has a full kitchen and living area. It is Raglan's oldest bookable bach! Cafe's and restaurants are outside your front door. Within 20 minutes you could be paddling out to one of the world’s best left-hand surf breaks, climbing the majestic Mt Karioi, or visiting the nearby Bridal Veil Waterfall.
A change of accomodation
Reviewed By GrandvisitorLast time in Raglan we stayed in the cottage this time in the two storey studios. We did enjoy the studios more than the cottage. Very comfortable with nice views from upstairs. The bed also very comfortable with a roomy bedroom with couch to sit on. Downstairs the kitchen was adequate although we only used it for breakfast but the lounge part once again nice and roomy. The only negative was the Wifi network given on the instruction sheet was incorrect also the internet connection was poor each day we were there there was breaks in the connection. We would definitely stay here again given the comfort and the excellent proximity to town.
