We traveled into the Mountains above Vratsa to visit a dairy operation. On our way back to the city we stopped at the restaurant with friends. We sat on the Terrace with a view of the lake. The area is surrounded by tall cliffs and a few caves were visible higher up as we walked in from the parking area. The service was prompt and several of my friends ordered tarator. Tarator ( if my spelling is correct) is actually a cold soup made with cucumbers and yoghurt. My friends asked for it to drink and it was served in beer mugs. I tasted one but preferred the Bulgarian beer. Everyone ordered different things off an extensive menu and I had grilled trout with fried potatoes. It was perfectly prepared and much enjoyed. There is also a hotel with the restaurant however I did not stay the night. The entire complex is near the Mountains with a stream and hiking trails. There were people rock climbing and rappelling nearby. I would enjoy a return visit.

Wonderful Bulgarian food to be had here. There's a courtyard with tables around the outsides, under cover - lovely to sit here day or night (apart from cigarette smoke, unfortunately, but that's everywhere outdoors in Bulgaria). I made a point of eating Bulgarian vegetarian food while in the country, and the best food I had was at this restaurant.

Terible, bad fast food. On the street. In the offer is the same menu what can we find on the bad griled party. And of course all foods are cold
