Chef Patricia Miranda Allen is a well-known figure in Panamanian gastronomy, having recently been a judge on Panama's version of top chef. She specializes in locally grown, farm-to-table dishes and is part of a movement to promote nearly-forgotten local fruits and vegetables. The wine list is pretty thin, but is more than compensated by the delicious food. Chef Patricia is a larger-than-life culinary tour de force and a delight to speak to.

In our restaurant we serve food from around the world. We cook with only natural and fresh ingridients. We can adjust to dietary needs when ever posible. Our Bed & Breakfast have 5 rooms with queen size beds for the most part, primate baths, hot water, free wifi, and includes hot breakfast
Jorge runs a great place and will accomodate almost anything. There is only a handful of good restaurants in Volcan which Mana is one of. Many places claim to have hamburgers, but Mana is the best. Very nice atmosphere and occasionally has live entertainment.

Small restaurant which offers fresh food made with local ingredients. Lunch and dinner meals, salads, drinks, coffe and desserts, all prepared with care and love.
A stormy afternoon and a gourmet lunch. Great ambiance, pretty little front front porch and a kitchen with good, ambitious food! The appitizer was outstanding...a eggplant concotion you didn't want to end. My main was a pork chop with strawberry reduction. Very good but pork was thin which accounts for the driness. Overall, a very satisfying meal with a very sweet, attentive and proper waitress.

A very cozy restaurant offering quality Panamanian and Mexican fusion food. Very Economic prices. Delicious fajitas, quesadillas, tacos and our famous burritos, to accompany your meals- we offer horchata, margaritas, beer, juice and delicious desserts. We speak English and Spanish fluently.
I've eaten here a couple of times and the food was excellent. I was surprised to find a Mexican food restaurant in Volcan, and pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.
Hot and tasty, and the burrito must weigh 3 lbs. I'll be returning with friends in the future.

We guarantee a unique esperience that you will never forget
We came here for the good reviews and left very happy. Service was good, food takes a bit more than usually in a restaurant but it's delicious. Great quality of ingredients, good portions and fair prices. The snapper with coconut and curry sauce was one of the best fishes I've ever tried. The meat was also really good. We enjoyed our time here very much with lovely jazz music in the background. It would be great if the restaurant opens in the future an outdoor Terrace to enjoy the surroundings while having a lovely meal.
They have a new address in Volcan so be sure to call beforehand. At the time we write this review, the google maps address is wrong.

Just had lunch at the new location and liked what I saw.
It is a small establishment, seats maybe 24, but not crowded. Lots of floor space between tables.
Numerous windows let in lots of light.
Service was prompt and meal was made when ordered.
A large plate of spaghetti with (2) 1.5 inch meatballs, hamburger and fries and a large bottled juice totaled $8.15.
Will eat there again!

Great calzone and pasta. Others have tried other dishes and were very happy. They are not the fastest food, but no more than a decent restauraunt making fresh food would be.

Alina was the Cerro Punta must-stop for Panamanians, for many years. Their fruit (strawberries or raspberries) and cream mix was delicious, fruit wines, ice creams... Not anymore. They got bigger, but the amazing quality of their products has suffered and now it's just OK. We no longer need to stop when we visit.

Stopped here for dinner one night with my partner.
We should have left when we saw no cars in the lot and this was Mother's Day, that was the first "tell" that we should have heeded.
This could be a great restaurant with a great view of Volcano Baru and the lush countryside but the food is not good.
We sat in the windowed area of the restaurant and had plastic place mats in front of us that were dirty along the edges.
I ordered an orange pineapple drink and received my drink in a dirty glass with thawed out pineapple and I guess orange juice.
My partner had coffee and did say that it was wonderful... then it gets worse.
Skip the water, get something bottled if you can as the water tasted of chemical additive and was served in dirty glasses.
My knife was a dirty paring knife and and I wiped down my silverware.
The soup was "something" not sure what with beans maybe and something cellular like old bean cake or meat that has seen better days.
The salad was pretty, the ingredients fresh but the salad dressing tasted off and must have been old, too bad.
My partner ordered Turkey and vegetables and I ordered pork ribs and potato salad.
She expect fresh Turkey with gravy, what she got was processed Turkey roll with a flour based gravy - terrible. Her vegetables were overcooked.
I will say my ribs were good once I got past the layer of heavy fat.
My potato salad however had no seasoning whatsoever and had to ask for salt and pepper - that helped a little bit but the salt shaker was not cooperating due to the humidity and could only get a little out.
Some of the potato pieces were raw and they were water logged.
Dessert was a small piece of ice box cake with a slice a dried up kiwi on top.
Overall, a poor meal and there is no reason for this to happen, for the most part the restaurants in Volcan are good to great.
