In Subotica center just over the park near the Town hall is Pelivan one of the best Ice cream place in the town. High quality , excellent service , friendly personnel. If you come around its a must for visit . In winter time they have cakes of different kind , and from spring to autumn ice creams with fantastic tastes .

the house pizza is amazing and worthy of a weekly visit if staying here longer... not to be missed. One caveat, the credit card machine never works so bring cash, but prices are pretty good. and if you want wine with pizza, ah... not really... stick to beer here or hard liquor.

The cafe tries to look old and fancy, even though it's 10 years old max. When you know it, all the recreated atmosphere looks too fancy to be serious. However, the prices level are more than correct (like 85 dinars for an espresso), the food is good, and the staff extremely polite. It's definitely a place to go, don't expect something traditionally Serbian though.
