Since we discovered this place we go there every day. The gyro is about $2 and is extremely fresh and delicious. The pork ribs are a must try as well.

We decided to try this restaurant (after more than 2 years of my life spent in the balcan)....Result?.... amazing place to spend very good traditional meals! Also cheap the price. Unfortunately not all plates indicated into menu were available...... no coffee as well...... but believe this restaurant is one of the best in the city! But for us (we ate for ten days in different restaurants) is the second of our list! Please go to improve the local!!!!!
We walked by this place tonight and decided to try it out on impulse â and weâre so glad we did! The server/ chef was so personable, the restaurant was cozy with amazing views (itâs above a bakery and overlooks the harbor), and most importantly, the food was really good! We ordered the fried cheese, veal chop, and chicken kebab. Would definitely go back!

Traditional Balkan and Mediterranen food. Steak House...Unique Balkan kitchen. A wonderful terrace with sea view. Well come.
Having heard good things about this place we were a little disappointed with the reality, which was overpriced for what we got (but then Riviera prices are generally inflated compared to elsewhere in Albania). Service from our young waiter was friendly and considerate, offering us a fan and the WiFi code without us having to ask, but our meals left something to be desired. We both ordered 'burgers', which you might want to note don't come in a bun, but are burger patties (of sorts) served with grilled vegetables. They were generally okay, if a bit heavy on the salt and oil, and plated nicely as well. But they just weren't 1000 lek/â¬8.50 dishes, especially considering we'd just arrived from Tirana and would have got the same thing there for probably half the price. They were also among the cheapest things on the menu.On the plus side, the restaurant is at the quiet end of the Saranda strip, so if you're looking for a slightly more sedate and intimate setting for your meal, this could be an option to consider.

We really enjoyed pita gyros there. Good service, low prices and tasty food with a great view. Recommended for fast food.

Taverna Laberis is the best option for grilling house as no where else in saranda with the friendly staff.
Went here on recommendation during my stay in Saranda and enjoyed a starter, main and draught beer (not readily available in Albania). Salad was plentiful, while the skewered chicken kebab was a little overcooked. Still perfectly edible though and it was filling enough. I was served by a friendly young waitress who spoke excellent English. Complimentary cake and raki followed the meal! Always a nice touch.Certainly worth visiting and good value for money.

Taverna Rrapo is best known as a family restourant, offering excellent and fresh food. Service is great and very clean. you feel like home.
We chose this restaurant based on Tripadvisor recommendations. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, which kind of saved the situation in the end. First of all, the Chardonnay wine on the list was something totally else than expected. Not that tasty compared to traditional Chardonnays because it was Albanian made (and this was not mentioned on the list). Then, we ordered stuffed peppers - they were cold. After asking should they be cold or warm we were told that it was prepared hour ago but they can warm them if we wish so. Well, they were warmed in the end but peppers were not tasty. After we left the restaurant we saw in the window to the restaurantâs kitchen that there was a hair dryer plugged in next to grill, were other dishes were prepared. Totally unbelievable. We thought perhaps the food was warmed in a microwave, but could not see one and the hairdryer was there as one utensil. So the conclusion was that peppers were warmed by a hair dryer. Kind of funny but totally something else than we expected based on recommendations here.First of all thank you for your review. We appreciate your time! The wine is a traditional Albanian wine. We are going to correct the menu. Thank you for pointing it out.We are sorry to hear that the peppers were not at your liking. The peppers are carefully prepared by our cook and that is a traditional local dish. The hair drier is used sometimes to fire the coal up, not for warming the food. We are sorry that you understood it in a wrong way. Regards

Food is delicious, the ingredients are amazingly fresh. The portions are in general a bit bigger than in other albanian restaurants. The atmosphere is also relaxing (but it was low season), soft music in the background and the staff is really helpful, attentive and friendly. I have been there twice in 3 days.
