Friendly and attentive personnel and sleeping in a comfortable modern, up standard room with a terrace overlooking the lake. The Hotel FloraAlpina enjoys a beautiful idyllic location on Lake Lucerne, just outside the village of Vitznau. The Floraalpina hotel is in a quiet location, 1.5 km south of Vitznau. It has a park and a heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool with a large sunbathing lawn for relaxing hours. The rooms with lake view as well as the panorama terrace provide a dreamlike view. The FloraAlpina also offers banquet rooms for up to 150 people and a modern seminar centre. Free transport to Vitznau is available.

Reviewed By DucIsCoolHôtel from the 70's. Nothing changed. Poor service. For the dinner, we had to choose between three proposals like in a cheap holiday resort. In addition, the waiter had an inappropriate behaviour. The management comes but didn't change the waiter. Unprofessional. The view is great, the location too. Unfortunately, it does not everything. Avoid it.

Probleme beim check- in, keine Info dass Restaurants geschlossen sind. Die Rooftop-Zone war auch geschlossen. Schade, wir haben extra umgebucht und wurden enttäuscht.

Reviewed By Angelm777Hotel rooms are decent but hotel has no room service, bell hop, in house phones nor airconditioning. At least fans should be there sincd the weather is getting warmer globally. Very disappointing and deceptive.

Reviewed By Denis AHotel Rigi is excellently sited on the bank of Lake Lucerne across the road from the rack and pinion train up Mount Rigi. The views across the lake are stunning. The hotel is family run and managed by Lynas. All the staff speak excellent English and are very welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The meals in the restaurant cannot be faulted. This was our eighth stay here on coach trips and we will be returning next year.

The hotel is part of the Swiss Historic Hotels and if you take the time to speak with the owners, they will be happy to share with you their passion and the history of the hotel, closely linked to the Rigi train located next door. The whole experience was beautiful; the room, the region, the lake, the view, etc... Breakfast and dinner were tasteful and much enjoyable, as well as the Swiss wine. We highly recommend The Hotel Terrasse Am See and we shall be back next time we go to the Lac des Quatres Cantons region ! Thank you to the owners and their team !
