Comfortable and convenient!
Reviewed By chrisstambWe spent a week of wintersports vacation at Horni Misecky ski center and stayed at this pension on a half board basis. It is a simple yet, sufficient accomodation,located inside the ski center.It is not new,the furniture and the facilities are dated, but they are still good enough for what they offer.You can actually put on your skis/snowboard and just...slide to the lifts! Their breakfast is excellent, they also serve a feeding lunch if you want, while their dinner is made out of good Czech dishes.The pension's main advantages are the location, but also the personnel's friendliness. Nothing is difficult to arrange. They also provide ski sets for very low prices, much better than the local rentals. Something to keep in mind for extra savings... They offer a small indoor whirpool and sauna service for a fee, as well as massage service. A recommedation whould be to maybe offer to their guests this service, like 1hr of use of the pool/sauna for free...Their facility is actually not new, so they should maybe concider this option... One must keep in mind that, this place is not inside a village. The actual ski village is a hard 30min. mountainous drive, or a 45' hike through the mountain. You can also go there by the use of the ski lifts...Oveer there, there is more life and shops and other hotels, etc. But, if you do not need such things (and actually, we did not) that is not a real issue... Important tip!!!You can buy a ski pass that gives you access to the whole area of 29kms of slopes, however, to make full use of that, you need to either take a ski bus to the other slopes that are located to the opposite mountain, or drive there...It is possible, however, it is also time consuming... There is also a regional ski pass that is actually much more practical to use and much cheaper.It gives yyou access to more than enough slopes, of maybe 15kms in total, that are at the direct vicinity of your hotel. All together, it has been a good choice for us.Food is local,good and comes in decent portions, there is a cosy room for enjoying a coffee or a drink or even a meal, if you are not a guest. The portions of food served to outside guests are really huge...That maybe is something to concider : to offer the same portions to the pension's guests!! A nice touch is also a playroom for the kids. Not big, but the kids enjoy gathering there... Prices are very affordable, and the whole package accomodation/food/ski pass/ mountain is hard to beat! I strongly reccomend this pension and the location! We will visit them again!!

Old fashion hut, cheap prices and nice service
Reviewed By Igor ZThe Hut is located 1km from Horni Misecky isolated from civilization in woods. You have to leave your car in the village. The interior is quite old and old-fashioned, the cheapest rooms just with shower in the room corner. But the service (1 man for all - enough for out of season) is a nice guy ready to do what and when ever you need. For this region low prices as well. So if you do not need comfort and ready to enjoy 80's in communist mountains atmosphere then this is the right place for you.

Amazing family run hotel
Reviewed By Robin FLots of space around for walking in the mountains - you are in the mountains. The meals are surprisingly high class, the rooms are cute and the views are spectacular. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Fabulous stay

good standard for a typical traditional mountain "chata"
Reviewed By Iva HWe went there for a long weekend in May with the aim to go hiking. It is definitely a good place to start daily hikes. It's nicely located. The staff was friendly, the place was basic but clean and cosy. The hiking opportunities were a little limited as there was still quite a lot of snow higher up in the mountains. The rooms are definitely not sound-proof, which can be a problem for people who want to have an early night. The restaurant was good, mainly with typical Czech dishes. I must say that I had the best scrambled eggs ever at this place! Well done! Overall, a good place to stay if you have no high expectations regarding the comfort!

Hezka horská chata
Reviewed By Eli-ška KPříjemná nove opravena dřevěná chaloupka přímo u sjezdovky. Jen par metru od nové zprovozněné lanovky na Horních Miseckach. Přátelská paní majitelka poměrně dobre vaří. K zimě je k chatě ne příliš dobře udržována cesta. Je lepší mít s sebou řetězy.

Jenom ten sníh nám chyběl
Reviewed By radeksmidSuper ubytování přímo na sjezdovce Skiareálu Janova Hora. Tři vybavené pokoje s kuchyňským koutem a jeden velký rodinný apartmán se schody do podkrovní části. Součástí penzionu je také sušárna pro odkládání mokrého oblečení a uzamykatelná lyžárna pro odkládání mokrého vybavení. Okolí nabízí kromě zimních aktivit také možnost výletů, penzion leží na samé hranici Krkonošského národního parku. Po vlastní zkušenosti z týdenního pobytu mohu jen doporučit!

Fajn penzion s domaci atmosferou
Reviewed By h0nzikiByli jsme tu na rodinnem pobytu. Polopenze je varena primo majiteli, jidlo prumerne, ale da se. Pivo krakonos je jake je, siroka nabidka rumu na baru. Pokoje maji zakladni vybaveni, vlastni socialni zarizeni, pro prespani dostacujici. Celkove fajn podnik pro rodinnou dovolenou.
