Things to do in Sigatoka
We stayed at the Outrigger but decided to try the restaurants along the beach. The Quarterdeck looked good and the menu fantastic. However it was very average. Half of the menu was unavailable and we were told as we were ordering so we all had to change our meal. 5 of us had pasta and the meals were quite nice. The other 2 were very disappointed in their choice. The staff were lovely and the singer was amazing. The meals were extremely slow - slower than usual and we were the only ones waiting for meals. The garlic bread was horrible. Would we return sadly no.

The food was authentic and well priced. We visited this restaurant twice during our 8 night stay at the Shangri La.First visit we indulged in the seafood options of lobster and mudcrad..which was well cook and delicious. The second visit we took the curry option which again was terrific.Don't let the décor or shop front put you off...the food was great and you BYOG....warning however the bottle shop across the road doesn't have a very good selection of white wine..but of course good local beer.

Cuisine which is touch by local organic ingredients
The Flying Fin is walking distance for most people from Bedarra Beach Inn, But also provide a pick up service which was handy as two of our party had mobility issues. We enjoyed our meal, looking for basic food after a big day. The burger is definitely recommended. And drinks were pretty good value.

Dined here recently with partner and family including grandies (who did not eat here). This is simply Fiji rustic dining at its best . It is best to make reservations as ther are only really 2 x tables (max 12 persons). We had to delay our night here for 2 nights - so we our whanau could be the only diners there. The restaurant we sat in is like a typical Fiji bure with authentic sandy floor - (reminded me of eating in Bali at the beach) . wooden tables - nothing luxurious here - excellent location - beachfront literally down a set of steps . However the ambiance , service and food are on another level - yes as the reviews all say it is Asian-Fijian influenced , all done with tantalizing flavours of local produce , Mari specializes in seafood mostly but does cater for vegetarians and non seafood eaters , it is BYO only . We chose a 5 course option - which sounds filling - but was not - proportioned right by a very talented chef/cook. It was my best dining experience taste wise on my recent Fiji trip and was also very well priced . In fact we all enjoyed it very much. Thanks Mari and Pai for a memorable dining experience - hence the excellent ratingThank you for your lovely review which created big Bula smiles. We are happy you enjoyed our Cafe' and hope to welcome you again during your next visit to our Island !Vinaka Vakalevu,Marie and staff

We stayed at the Intercontinental Fiji for 5 Nights. This is a must-do breakfast option (for adults only). We enjoyed the breathtaking views and mini breakfast buffet which was more appealing than the other busy breakfast venue. The service was so personalised as well.A heavenly breakfast indeed!!

Beach bar grill Fiji has best local seafood, best steaks with best rusti atmosphere .
We enjoyed great food at a reasonable price while staying at the much more expensive Outrigger Resort. Helpful staff, even took the 18mth old for a walk so his mother could eat in peace.

We dined here with a large group by the pool. A very pleasant setting. As always in Fiji the service was pleasant but a little towards relaxed Fiji time. We both enjoyed the lobster bisque, deliciously thick and with a nice touch of lobster flavour. My son had the Dahl? Soup which he also enjoyed. For mains we had the pan fried chicken. A little on the dry side but the sauce and vegetables were delicious. My son and his partner had the Fijian Indian curry special. A largish serving. He enjoyed. My mother in law had the balsamic pork fillet. Again a little dry but the vegetables and sauce were delicious. My partner had the Mongolan chicken. This was odd dish. A bit more like chicken in black bean sauce. The rice was woefully dry. She did not enjoy it all. For dessert we had a very homemade like large serving of apple pie with ice cream. If it came with cream it would have been lovely. For drinks we had a bottle of Aus white at 28$ Aus. Very reasonable! The prices are very reasonable for all drinks and food. Definitely not fine dining but mostly good eating. Recommended
