There's about 9 different restaurants and a good coffee shop so there's a small variety to enjoy. Food is affordable but place can be cleaner...

This restaurant is indeed a taste of the orient- an authentic taste. The 5 dishes we had today did not disappoint in any way; all were flavoursome, beautifully cooked and generous in size. Service was unobtrusive but efficient and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I only hope that the fact that they are tucked away on the first floor of an office building in Gordon Street does not preclude them from attracting a wider, appreciative clientele.

There is a choice of menu items or yum cha. We choose the latter. Was a nice selection of different tastes and fried or steamed dishes. Yum cha was reasonably priced, especially compared to the menu prices. Decor is a little dated and quite tired but it doesnât distract from the meal. Staff friendly and helpful. Happy to explain the dishes to us.
A good selection of food. A very clean kitchen and amazing staff. They have set a standard of great fast food in Fiji.

The restaurant recently moved to better premises. Much cleaner and brighter now. Food is always superb. For a family of 4 + my Dad we paid A$100 which included a medium sized steamed whole fresh fish. If you love your greens try the stir fried pumpkin leaves. Also try the winter melon soup and salt and pepper deep fried prawns. If you're not into spice request that they tone down on the chillies. Highly recommendable and a must.
I have been twice to Veggie Restaurant, once for a takeaway lunch and once with my daughter. The food is deliciously fresh and the servings are generous. On my first visit I ordered a spicy vege quesadila to takeaway which was great and super tasty. Second visit I had a sit down lunch with my daughter and we both ordered the tofu burgers. They are nice large servings and the burger was so delicious and fresh. It arrived with a lovely perfectly dressed salad and the tofu was delicious! I had a fresh juice also which was a meal in itself. A very quaint, clean and charming place to lunch with lovely creative vegan food. The owner is lovely and makes beautiful food. Will be back to try more of the menu. They offer such a range of all varieties of vegan options!

Maybe good when you don't know the real noodle soup. This is a pale imitation and the place is noisy of course, it's a food court!

I went after a long time and was impressed with the broccoli dish - the chili oil in the sauce is amazing, despite it's bleak appearance. We also tried the tofu with woodear mushrooms - very good, and the choy sum is a classic favorite. The food is better than I remember.

Came here for lunch today and this place is one to avoid. The service itself was either a hit or a miss, but our food came quickly since it was an empty restaurant. The sitting in the restaurant is really uncomfortable as the chair is much lower than the table, much lower than usual standards so I did struggle a bit to eat because of this. The food was overpriced, chicken dishes costed $29 and had absolutely no flavor in them lacklustre at best.My main issue here is how expensive this place is and the quality of food is missing, sure you get a plate full of whatever you order but its bland. I forgot what we ordered, but whatever it was I would have gotten the same quantity with a better quality for $7-$10 at either Pekking or Southern Cross.
