While not quite as upmarket as its newly opened sister restaurant that is 200 metres away, Salamandas, dining at Sunshine was great because of its good food and absolute beachfront location.The view could not be more pleasant: white sand and a blue sea. Service was not quite as effusive as at Salamandas but nonetheless it was acceptable.

sorry but we were really disappointed. while waiting for our ferry back to dumaguete, we ordered mango shake and pizza. mango shake was not worth it for the price. total rip-off. we cancelled our pizza order because service was so slow. they should have informed ahead how many mins it would take for the orders to be ready since most of their customers stay there to wait for their ferry ride

Had lunch here one day on a recent visit.immediately struck by the peacefulness - just so nice with the sea just a few meters away and a lovely fresh breeze blowing in.A good choice of food at reasonable prices - really enjoyed the experience so returned a second time for lunch.

Well what can I say, food in Philippines is usually bad, but this place got the golden medal for it! It took forever and it just looked like the person cooking had no idea what to do so if you are hungry go somewhere else as their vegan option, what we had, was just bad!!

Friendly staff,quiet good restaurant. Beautiful setting, lovely to enjoy a good meal overlooking the cliff while the sun sets. Bring mosquito repellant. Afterwords, after the regaining the main road, stop at the roadside bar, "Bubi Bar", sit at a roadside table, and enjoy a cocktail while watching the evening world go by.

No regrets.We had a long day touring the island. We opted to had dinner here. :)Food Serving is HUGE, like their menu board. We did not know that one dish is good for sharing, that is why we ended up ordering three dishes.We paid 200php per dish.You can choose whether to have it with rice, garlic rice, mashed potato and fries with your food.It is located walking distance from the Capilay Spring Park.

This place has good food, pizza was just ok but still good when you are hungry, prices were a little high for philippines and waffles were delicious, customer service great and place clean, good to stop and enjoy some food on your way back to town.Thank you very much for your visit and kind review. My partner and I stayed at Coco Grove for a few nights and the hotel helped plan a surprise for my partner's birthday through Salamandas. The staff went above and beyond and made the morning so special for my partner. Special thanks to Joey and Roselio for being so amazing! We also ate here for lunch and breakfast here a few times and the food and drinks were great. The restaurant is on the beach and has a relaxing laid back setting. This is the perfect place to unwind on holiday.Dear Eloise A, It is our absolute pleasure to make our guests' dining experience special and memorable one especially when they choose to spend their birthday with us!
