No regrets. We had a long day touring the island. We opted to had dinner here. :)Food Serving is HUGE, like their menu board. We did not know that one dish is good for sharing, that is why we ended up ordering three dishes. We paid 200php per dish. You can choose whether to have it with rice, garlic rice, mashed potato and fries with your food.It is located walking distance from the Capilay Spring Park.

My wife and daughter went there last Saturday night. Excellent food (mostly Filipino), bit of a long wait for entrees (about 30 minutes). They could use a top notch restaurant manager/drill sergeant, the place is a bit disorganized, which can be a problem because especially on weekend nights it does get busy. It would also help if they served a freebie snack plate or something like that since they're undoubtedly aware that there's a wait for food.

Amazing 180 decree ocean and sunset view bar and restaurant with amazing gardens. Sit at the bar or tables or laze on the sundeck beds or chillout in the lounge. Icy cold beer, shakes or enjoy your favorite cocktail, fresh juice or soft drink. Enjoy a qui
Stayed here for a week and was really impressed with everything ! This is one of those special places with unique highlights such as the sunsets, gorgeous ocean views from every room, super friendly and helpful owners and staff, great food and drinks and above all a super friendly atmosphere.I was made to feel welcome from day one by both the owners, their staff, and the resident German Shepherd names âDudeâ.Every day I was greeted with a smile as I wandered down for breakfast and I even earned a new nickname â The Harrowâ which I was affectionately called daily by the warm, cute, at times cheeky (lol) staff. Lots of friendly banter at The Jungle if Peace! The facilities were great. The food choices were plentiful and the servings generous. The bar catered for all with a variety of spirits, bees, cocktails. All the prices were reasonable compared to other resorts on the Island. My room had great views and was well appointed with complimentary coffee, soap, and even toilet paper! Which can be a rare commodity at some places. Laundry is no problem, just hand it to one of the friendly staff and they will return it cleaned and pressed, usually within 24 hrs.Private island highlight tours can be arranged through Scott who has intimate knowledge of the island and its attractions, some not on the tourist lists which makes it special.Overall I would highly recommend the Jungle of Peace as a destination when on the island and I would return in a heartbeat!

The Baha Bar concept is to take traditional and well liked Filipino dishes and alter and 'spice' them up them up to suit a more adventurous and curious palate. In addition to Filipino food we have a wide selection of European staples, vegetarian dishes an
we intended to have dinner at Baha Ba'r.waitress took bad our command, and one of us couldn't have any dish.when dushes arrived and one person's command didn't appear she says that was sorry, but kitchen was going to close and didn't prepare anything more. So she has no dinner.Beers on menú wasn't available, except for imported and very expensive ones.Terrible service, many dishes on menú not available, no beers (except very expensive ones) and ridicolous quantities on dishes. So strongly recommend not to eat at this place. SteveRamon I sincerely apologize if Baha Baâr did not live up to your expectations.Let me try to answer your questions. Unfortunately on the night in question you ordered your food after the cut off time for serving food but we accommodated you and the chef stayed behind. As English is not the first language of either yourself or the server unfortunately there was a misunderstanding. By the time it had been realized the chef had gone for the night (he has a newborn). The reason why many food items were not on the menu were because during rough weather, which it has been recently, we cannot always get supplies, particularly fresh items, because they cannot be delivered boat. Also the fisherman who supply the bar cannot risk their lives going out in such conditions in their wooden boats.I am sorry if our service ruined your evening but pls try to relax a little! We are off the grid in Siquijor and as such in bad weather conditions we have to our best with the supplies we have and our staff, although not educated to as high standard as maybe your are used to really try their best. Apologies again for your evening at Baha Baâr I hope you had a more satisfactory outcome other nights.Steve

We went here for breakfast once when a lot of the other restaurants were closed. We ended up eating here everyday for the rest of the week in Siquijor. Consistently the best food in Siquijor for sure, and the intimate Japanese-style bar environment encourages conversation amongst the staff and the guests. We loved it so much here we convinced Jerry (the owner) to teach us to make some of the dishes, which he gladly did. The accommodation as well, while providing basic amenities, provides a relaxing and accommodating stay, with quick access to the restaurant for food and drinks. Very excited to see this restaurants growth, but also a little sad knowing it will be a lottt bigger in a year or too. Definitely come here as soon as possible.Fave food:ShaksukaHummus and eggplant dipThe dessert (lava cake with homemade icecream)

Don't know where to begin. So much to love about this place. The food and drinks are great - reasonably priced and fresh ingredients. Service is superb. What i love most though is the atmosphere. There's a certain tranquility to the place. Dined here twice and will come back to Siquijor just to stay in the guesthouse and eat the freshest seafood. Must try: Sunshine non-alcoholic cocktail, any dish with tuna, marlin, and swordfish. Very much in love with this place! Highly recommended!!!

My partner and I stayed at Coco Grove for a few nights and the hotel helped plan a surprise for my partner's birthday through Salamandas. The staff went above and beyond and made the morning so special for my partner. Special thanks to Joey and Roselio for being so amazing! We also ate here for lunch and breakfast here a few times and the food and drinks were great. The restaurant is on the beach and has a relaxing laid back setting. This is the perfect place to unwind on holiday.Dear Eloise A, It is our absolute pleasure to make our guests' dining experience special and memorable one especially when they choose to spend their birthday with us! We'll relay your feedback and recommendation to the team especially to Joey and Roselio, and we hope to welcome you once again at Salamandas and Coco Grove next time you visit the island.
