My wife and I drove the hour to Tappahannock and had the Sunday buffet. This buffet was known to be one of the finest seafood buffets around. The buffet is now a varied foods buffet there were two fish and two shrimp selections but the rest was pork, chicken, and beef. I had not had chicken livers in a while so I grabbed a lot of those very good fried liver pieces. Vegetables were standard green beans, mac and cheese, etc. Our bad luck we had a brand new server he was not familiar with what to bring to the customers. He forgot our beverage order, we had to ask for utensils and napkins. He did not bring any bread nor any additional napkins like most of the servers do. I blame management here because they should have never set him out on the floor if he was not trained.I am still giving our day a very good for I remember Lowery's in the past was five star but this time I should have given the experience an average. Sorry Lowery's the competition will be getting our business. We could be back to try you out again one day.

We have been here many times. It is always good. Friendly helpful staff, even though we were there 15 minutes before closing (times of operation are wrong on TA.) We had fish and chips and jacks( homemade doughnuts.) Nice sized portions and quick service. Under new management, but same staff and great food. Fun atmosphere and great coffee drinks. Desserts homemade!!!

Brittany (spelling?), our server was pleasant and professional. The seafood was absolutely delicious. I had the seafood platter and I chose crabcake, fried oysters and steamed shrimp. My husband had the broiled crab stuffed flounder. Both dishes were among the best seafood we have ever tasted. We thought we would have leftovers from the abundant plates but we gobbled everything up completely. The place was filled with locals, which testifies to how wonderful everything tasted and how good was the service. Go!

Normally I avoid burger restaurants, but NN Burger offers a âharvestâ option, which is vegetarian. I appreciate the ownersâ understanding that not all people eat meat.I also appreciate the restaurant donates money each month to area charities. The atmosphere is cozy, yet I vibrant. The food is delicious and made-to-order. The shakes are freaking awesome!

Stopped here with our family of 11 for dinner. I ordered Thickburgers from their posted menu that showed 1/4 pound Thickburgers. When I also ordered fries the cashier said that the combos already had fries. I told her I only ordered sandwiches and did not want drinks other than water. So changed the orders from combos to sandwiches. She gave the amount and I gave her my credit card. I began doing the calculations for what the bill should have been and I questioned her about it. She ordered 1/3 pound burgers at $1 extra. The manager came up and I explained that I ordered the Thickburgers showing on their menu which showed 1/4 pound and that the cashier had rung up 1/3 pound burgers. The cashier confirmed that I had not asked for the 1/3 pound burgers. The manager's response was that my credit card had already been charged and went off to do something back in the kitchen. The food had not been delivered and there was plenty of time to change the order to what I wanted, especially to get 1/4 pounders for our grandchildren. This is not the kind of treatment I get at the Hardee's I go to in Richmond. The was acceptable, except for me being angry at how they were trying to upgrade my order counter to what I was ordering and then not being willing to adjust when I pointed out in a timely fashion what they had done.
Always dependable for a quick meal for guests and family gatherings, the ownership of KFC decided not to comply with the requests of the parent company and retired instead of being forced to complete expensive remodeling. I don't blame them but I do miss that 'finger licking chicken' in Warsaw. We however can travel to Tappahannock to get our buckets filled.

One would expect a coffee shop to brew decent coffee, but that didn't happen at The Daily. One might expect the treats to be delicious, but that didn't happen either. The coffee and muffin served to me were way below par.The Daily appeared on Google Maps when I searched for a nearby coffee shop...and I regret taking time to find this shop. I should have kept moving...and so should you.

Fresh, seasonal, locally sourced southern food. Open Wednesday 5 to 8,Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 9.
All the food we had was both delicious and well plated, whether appetizers, mains or desert. This also seemed true at the tables around us, and the menu is long enough that we saw several different entrees and appetizers being enjoyed. The kitchen is inventive, and the flavors and textures are quality. The other reviews about Relish being high-priced simply don't understand how much better the food is at Relish than anything for several miles in any direction. The rest of the restaurant, however, needs work. It is very noisy, rather like a sports bar on game day. There is a big TV over a small bar, but they are not the reason. In fact, from your restaurant end table you cannot hear them at all. You may not even be able to hear the person across from you at your table, although you can easily follow conversation at the table close behind you. The reason seems to be the decor. The painted blue walls are hard, flat and thin, as are the wide and very tall glass single-pane windows with no curtains or shades. The ceiling is unfinished, with empty fluorescent tube fixtures and dangling lights over the thin, hard tables. Our waitress was hard too. After we asked for water to start, she gave us a long time to read the menu. A longer time after we quite visibly had finished eating desert before coming to the table, and an even longer time to bring the bill. In the middle, she only appeared once with the appetizer, once with the entrees, and once with desert. Some other waitresses appeared more attentive to their tables, and one was kind enough to stop by once and ask if we wanted some water even though it was outside her station. I guess it is luck of the draw on servers, and from your table you can see all the way into the servers' dishprep area where yours might be chatting. It was by far the best meal i've ever had in a bad restaurant.
